Re: Attempted interview of Brad Riddle

Mr. Brad Riddle, Senior Claims Adjuster, Tennessee Farm Bureau Insurance, 42 Hendrixson Drive, Manchester, TN 37355, was contacted at his place of business. The receptionist at the front asked what the visit was about and she was informed that it was in regard to a claim. She called Mr. Riddle on the phone and he asked what the claim number is. She was informed that the claim number is 0080085286.

In a few minutes Mr. Riddle came out of his office and stood in the doorway. He asked if this was concerning the Solomon claim and he was answered in the affirmative. Mr. Riddle advised that he was expecting a client and he told the investigators that we should have called first. He then asked “how did you find me”?

Mr. Riddle was advised of the investigation into the death of Grant Solomon and that the truck that TN Farm Bureau had sent to IAA Salvage yard as salvage was potential evidence in the death investigation. He was asked to furnish documents pertaining to the claim of the 2015 Toyota Tundra and he stated that he did not release documents pertaining to clients and that it would have to speak with his supervisor. Mr. Riddle was given a business card and investigators advised that they would remain in Manchester to await the results of his call to the supervisor. Mr. Riddle was show a photograph of the truck as it sat in Aaron Solomon’s driveway weeks after the July 20, 2020, incident. He was also shown a photograph of the truck as it appeared at the time of the incident at the WPI facility. It was pointed out to Mr. Riddle that investigators were in possession of the truck and that the truck had been examined by an accident reconstruction team who determined that there was not enough damage to the truck to list it as totaled and salvage.

Investigators left the insurance office and waited in Manchester. Mr. Riddle did call and he advised that the information requested would have to be obtained through a subpoena to the TNFBI legal counsel in Columbia, TN.
