His talk, “#Fun#DumbPicture#SitTheBench,” is one of eight discussions organized by Sally Baum, women’s tennis head coach; Tati Korba, women’s soccer head coach; and others, and aimed at enhancing the athletes’ college experiences both on and off the field. have included a talk for second-year athletes led by Matt Stover, former Baltimore Ravens kicker, who spoke about motivation and passion in sports. Using examples of Twitter and Facebook faux pas (such as a man who gained widespread attention after being fired for bad-mouthing his boss on Facebook) and statistics (for example, more than 340 million Tweets are posted on Twitter every day), Chris Baum, who is Coach Baum’s son, encouraged the students to think before sharing personal information online. “Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences,” he cautioned. §
