in intensive care before moving on to Penguin Ward, where she spent the next month slowly recovering. Now aged 13, Becky loves playing the French horn and has a place in the Under 12 section of the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.

Despite the greatest challenges a child can face, the hospital is a place where being sick does not always mean being sad. And it’s a place where you’ll find some of the bravest people you could ever meet. Children like Becky, who was diagnosed at GOSH with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) when she was just four years old. Following years of managing her condition, and a period of remission, Becky fell ill over Christmas two years ago and was rushed into GOSH with a rare and potentially fatal complication of JIA. She spent three days on a life support machine

Last order date We would always advise you to order early to avoid disappointment. However, for your orders to be delivered in time for Christmas, the last date for standard delivery is 15 December, and 20 December for next day delivery. Guarantee If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will offer a replacement or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
