BEFORE PENN STATE Lettered for four years at Sartell/Sauk Rapids, leading as team captain from 2010-2012...Named All-State and a two-time St. Cloud Times Player of the Year...Earned two AP All-State honorable mention accolades...Named to Central Lakes All-Conference Team three times...Left Sartell/Sauk Rapids as all-time leading goal scorer, while setting single-season goals (33) and points (50) records senior year...Scored 102 goals, 67 assists and 169 points in 107 games, leading team to 2012 Central Lakes Conference title and to the State Sectional 8-AA Final.
