Media Information MEDIA CREDENTIALS All requests for working press credentials for 2012-13 Penn State men’s hockey home games should be made at least one day prior to the game. Please direct all credential requests to Matt Caracappa, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, at mnc5000@psu.edu or 814-865-1757.

PRESS FACILITIES The press area for game operations and writers will be located on the balcony section of the arena. Home and visiting radio broadcasters will be stationed at the top of Section C at center ice. Wireless internet is available within the arena. Writers will be able to file stories from the press area after games.

Please include your name, affiliation, cell phone and e-mail address on all requests. All credentials can be picked up at the will call area at the Greenberg Ice Pavilion main desk.

RADIO/TV Radio/TV wishing to broadcast or tape a game must contact Matt Caracappa. Radio broadcasts must be able to use wireless internet as phone and internet lines will not be available. The home and visiting radio broadcast areas are located at the top of Section C at center ice. TV cameras can set up at the top of the stairwell near Section D and around the glass of the rink.

INTERVIEW POLICIES All interviews with student-athletes and coaches must be arranged through the athletic communications office. Studentathletes should not be contacted directly and have been instructed not to grant requests unless facilitated through athletic communications. Student-athlete interviews will take place on Thursday either before or after practice. Interviews conducted before practice must be completed no later than 20 minutes prior to the start of practice. Interviews for student-athletes and coaches may also take place on different days and must be arranged through Matt Caracappa. Postgame press conferences will be held in the Greenberg Ice Pavilion auxiliary room on the main level of the arena. Head coach Guy Gadowsky and select student-athletes will be available after the 10-minute cool down period. Postgame interviews with the visiting team head coach and student-athletes should be arranged through the visiting team athletic communications contact.

PHOTOGRAPHERS Photographers wishing to shoot games at Greenberg Ice Pavilion must also request credentials. Photographers may shoot from the area behind the glass in the west, southeast and east corners of the rink. Photographers may also shoot from the press area and along the stairwell near Section D, as long as they do not interfere with any media members or spectators.
