Notable Senior Tyra Grant registered her 29th career 20-point game with 23 tallies to go along with four rebounds and two steals. The Lady Lions used a 7-0 in the second half to erase what was a 10-point deficit, but were not able to complete the comeback. Senior Nicole Arcidiacono made her third career start.
Notable Senior Meredith Monroe had a career-high 11 points, including nine of Penn State’s first 11 points. Freshman center Nikki Greene registered her first career double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, including eight on the offensive glass. Sophomore Renee Womack made all three of her shots from the field on the way to six points. The Lady Lions held the Hawks scoreless for the final 10:27 of the first half.

Freshman Nikki Greene clinched the win by making 5-of-6 free throws in the final 1:04 of the game. Senior Tyra Grant had a season-best 27 points to lead the Lady Lions. She moved past Andrea Garner for eight place on Penn State’s career scoring list.
Notable The Lady Lions used a 26-3 run in the second half to overcome a 12-point halftime deficit. Senior Tyra Grant scored 13 of Penn State’s 26 points during the run, including the first nine. Sophomore Emily Phillips was a spark off of the bench with a career-best eight points. Grant registered her 31st career 20-point game with 21 tallies on 6-of-10 shooting. Penn State shot 57.6% from the field in the second half.
