Gonzaga University McCarthey Athletic Center After 35 years of competing in the powerful atmosphere of the Kennel in the Charlotte Y. Martin Centre, Gonzaga Basketball shot over to the $25 million McCarthey Athletic Center. Completed in November 2004, the McCarthey Athletic Center houses the men’s and women’s basketball games, locker rooms, practice facility, and coaching offices. This new arena includes six concessions, 12 large bathrooms, two family restrooms, six luxury suites, a Club Room, four visiting team locker rooms, additional athletic administration offices, and practice facilities for the Gonzaga men’s and women’s crew teams. In addition to hosting basketball events, the McCarthey Athletic Center has the ability to host nonathletic events such as concerts, tournaments, banquets, meetings, and receptions.

Charlotte Y. Martin Centre The Martin Centre is home to the women’s volleyball team and hosts many outside events. The complex also includes the Rudolf Fitness Center, the Josh Burrows Performance Athletic Center, training room, locker rooms, and the offices for the Athletic Department.

Patterson Baseball Complex and Washington Trust Field Gonzaga’s new home beginning in 2007, Patterson Baseball Complex and Washington Trust Field returned baseball to the Bulldog campus for the first time since 2003. The first game in the new, state-of-the-art lighted facility, was March 15, 2007, the first night game was played April 17, 2007, and the dedication game was played April 20, 2007. The complex is named after the family of Michael Patterson, 2008 chairman of the Board of Trustees, while Pete Stanton and Washington Trust Bank in Spokane was also a major contributor to the project.
