small town in Northeastern Oregon at the base of the Blue Mountains. We are in the cattle business there. I’m a country boy at heart although I love living in Scottsdale. I moved to Arizona in 1997 for college. I work in commercial real estate. I also spend time working to help raise money for the Fresh Start Foundation (www.wehelpwomen.com). I was invited to join the Men’s Board this year. It’s a fantastic charity.
Do you have a favorite designer for suits, shoes, etc?
Definitely. I like Hugo Boss suits, slacks, and shirts. They fit my frame and are well made. I also like the fact they have a single store where you can get all the clothes. For shoes I like Hugo Boss, Allen Edmonds, and Ecco.
Aside from golf, what do you prefer for fun and relaxation? I like
to travel. It can be to somewhere far away or close by. I really enjoy going up to Prescott, Flag, or Pinetop. Arizona has really neat road trip destinations. I also enjoy working on my house. I recently bought a house that hadn’t been updated since it was built in 1980. It’s been fun remodeling it, although I’m not quite done.
What’s your take on cuddling? I like it a lot.
In this crazy world, who doesn’t like snuggling up with their special someone.
Who is your favorite comedian?
Vince Vaughn and the chubby guy from the Hangover movies are hilarious. 12
Gyver. MacGyver could probably figure out a way to get us off the island with his pocket knife. However, I’m not sure if I’d want to get off the island if Win and Blair are on the island with me.
to mind, he’s such a great sportsman; but, it would have to be my three brothers Tommy, Wesley, and Landry. Wes had an accident last September and is a quadriplegic, so obviously he can’t golf. I dream about the 4 of us playing together. It will happen someday.
Boxers or briefs?
Ha! Whatever is clean. Boxers are good for lounging around in but you can’t wear them to work and then throw on gym shorts and workout in them…no support. I guess I mostly wear boxer briefs.
What is the last book you read?
Golf’s Sacred Journey, Seven Days at the Links of Utopia. I can’t wait for the movie to come out this summer.
What is your favorite course to play?
Most of the Troon Golf Courses are great. I’d have to say among them, Southern Dunes is my favorite. It has tough holes, it’s always in good shape, and it’s unique in that it is links style golf in Arizona.
What was your best golf shot ever?
