Six spheres of one meter of height will have messages that will be reflected in illuminated points that will spin around the walls of the Santa Fe Gallery of the Planetary, in a very young concept, but with phrases related with the cruel reality of the daily life in Latin America and Colombia. A mixture of political reality and parties, a polarity between frivolous and political issues. The idea of parties as a form of evasion and the acute conscience of the political and social conscience are mixed. It’s a shortage in the circuit between dance, body, reading and mind. Between happiness and the overwhelming.

K. 40 # 22C–67 \ 3810000 Two great occasions will be the starting points of this version of the International Book Fair of Bogota. The Fair reaches its twentieth edition in which Bogota will be accredited as World Book Capitol. In this occasion the guest of honor is Chile, a country with an extraordinary literary maturity, birthplace of icons such as Pablo Neruda, Gabriela Mistral, Nicanor Parra, José Donoso, Isabel Allende and Roberto Bolaño, among others. The Chilean pavilion will be conformed by a gastronomic and folkloric exposition, besides the confirmed presence of several characters of the literature field such as the 90 year old poet Gonzalo Rojas, who is one of the most

The interest of this project is to transform the perception that the spectator can have of the space of the Santa Fe Gallery, by localizing in it the spheres of the discotheque, the appearance of the environment turns frivolous and fun. However, the spectator sees himself reflected in them and is pushed to decipher the text that covers them, made of short phrases that involve the survival in the hard Latin-American reality. Schedules: Tues-Fri. 9am–5pm. Sat. Sun. and Holidays 10am–5pm. Cost: $1.500. important contemporary poets of the spanish language; worthy of some prizes like Reina Sofía de Poesía Iberoamericana (1992), Octavio Paz Prize of México and the Cervantes Prize (2003). The pavilion will also count with the presence of writers like Jorge Edwards, considered one of the greatest authors of the Spanish language. Edwards is the author of “Persona non grata”, the first critic by a Latin American intellectual of the Cuban regime, and “El Anfitrión y Adiós”. Alberto Fuguet is also one of the confirmed characters in the Fair, leader of “Mc Ondo”, the literary movement that proclaimed the ending of the magic realism. In this occasion Fuguet comes to show us his ability as movie maker (in the year 2005 he released his first work “Se Arrienda”). The National presence will be leaded by our Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez, who will receive a special tribute due to his 80th birthday, the 40th anniversary of his novel “Cien años de Soledad” and the 25th anniversary of his Nobel Prize.
