ThankYou ~FOR YOUR SUPPORT~ SPECIAL DONOR RECOGNITION HARVARD STADIUM SCOREBOARD

SQUASH AND TENNIS LOCKER ROOMS/TEAM ROOM

Harvard Athletics greatly appreciates the generosity and leadership of Michael Murr ’73, MBA ’75 and Howard Keenan ’73, MBA ’75 for providing the support for the new Harvard Stadium scoreboard. This state-of-the-art scoreboard greatly enhances the fan experience and gameday environment in Harvard Stadium. The easy-to-read scoreboard includes a high-resolution video display designed to provide spectators with features such as graphics, in-game statistics and instant replay.

Through the generosity of Peter Palandjian ’87, MBA ’93, and the Lee Family (Doris S. & Theodore B. Lee ’54, Gregory T.H. Lee ’87 and Ernest T.H. Lee ’91), new locker rooms for the squash and tennis programs are now a reality. The unused space beneath the squash bleachers has been converted into locker rooms for recreational squash and tennis players, locker rooms for the men’s and women’s squash and tennis teams, and a shared team room for the student-athletes on those teams.

FOOTBALL LOCKER ROOM RENOVATION

BRIGHT HOCKEY CENTER SCOREBOARD

Thanks to Ernie Monrad ’51, the football locker room in Dillon Field House underwent a dramatic renovation during the summer. The renovation included the installation of 114 classic wood lockers, new carpet and a complete technological overhaul to provide cutting edge video capabilities that benefit both players and coaches. In addition, Monrad’s support has provided the funding for inspirational artwork and upgraded aesthetics, reinforcing Harvard football’s commitment to excellence.

C. Kevin Landry ’66 followed his recent gift to establish the Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey with a generous contribution to fund a new scoreboard for the Bright Hockey Center. The scoreboard features a four-sided video display with features similar to those on the new Harvard Stadium video board. Landry’s overall commitment to Harvard Athletics will be evident to everyone who enjoys the new scoreboard’s enhancement of the gameday atmosphere at the Bright Hockey Center.
