Attendance On the Rise •Middle Tennessee has doubled its average home attendance under Kermit Davis, realizing a 200 percent increase in the process •After ranking 10th in the Sun Belt in average home attendance prior to the 2002-2003 season, the Blue Raiders have the Sun Belt’s second-highest home average in Davis’ 10 seasons •Established new single-game attendance record of 11,807 at The Murphy Center on February 26, 2004. •Had the sixth largest attendance increase in college basketball in 2011-12

One of the biggest changes in college athletics over the past few years has been the attitude toward strength and conditioning. Performing in the weight room has become just as important as on-the-court competition, and Middle Tennessee has one of the very best staffs in the nation committed to making student-athletes the best they can be. It all happens in the Blue Raiders' 10,000-plus square foot weight room facility located adjacent to the Murphy Center and is designed for use by all Middle Tennessee student-athletes. It is a strength training area that rivals any in the country. The weight room has been described by many people as better than any in the immediate area, including those at SEC and Conference USA schools.

During the 2011-12 Season, Men’s Basketball achieved an APR score of 970 (Out of 1000), putting them among the top 10% of all schools in the United States.

The team has posted APR scores in the top 10% in the country the last 5 years in a row.

The has team posted an average GPA of 2.75 the last two years.




Coach Davis and his Blue Raider Program have successfully helped the last 23 student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility, graduate from Middle Tennessee State University.
