Over the past 30 years Robert Longley has written inspirational and motivational poems for hundreds of people. Many inspirational poetry or memorial services have been written over the years. His poems are featured in several books, and have been used in songs and one movie. His inspirational poetry has been used by the U.S. Army outreach for children of fallen soldiers as well as organizations such as the American Widows Project.
