FORCES THAT MATTER
THE AUTHOR WAS TAUGHT at school that stone and steel were lifeless objects, but now we learn that there is life of an electrical kind in everything we touch, pick up and view. In effect, the whole world is one complex ‘force-field of energy’. Even objects such as diamonds, plastics, and the common house brick, are really, ‘living matter’, not in the image of a life form as we know it, but containing electrical particles which cluster together in thousands of variations. You and I have every reason to be confused because every scientific discovery exposes more mysteries. For instance, we now hear that minute organisms, a thousand times smaller than a pin head, have a degree of intelligence, a mind-boggling thought indeed! But some humility is overdue as we try to emulate nature. The microchip with its vast store of information is a point in question. Are not our brains packed full of ‘natural microchips’ and should we not be working on ourselves to make our ‘chips more user friendly’, as the expression goes? The world and the universe is packed full of forces. Understanding them
