THE STYLE ICON FASHION FAIR Fashion, a single word that can change people’s lifestyle and the way of thinking. The simple aim is to show their true identity in a creative way and the biggest purpose is to make other people interest and wear and do the same as an icon or the inspirational person’s ideas. In some literatures, it can make a history, revolution, freedom, belief in people’s life, and other influences. In the hands of fashion icons, fashion can be beautiful, modern, or some other ideas that appear in our mind. In the ancient, fashion was around safety fabrics with simple cut that warmed or guarded human from nature. At the time when royals ruled almost all part of the world, kings and queens or upper class became the only fashion icon that influenced their people dressed. Big hair with wigs, ball gowns, boots for man, and anything that people could wear in before and until middle age of renaissance era started. In the 1920, started by the beginning of Coco Chanel’s clothing ideas also with an occasional revival of long skirts, variations of the shorter length have remained dominant ever since. Fashion always followed by the era, after people found a television, magazine, and internet, people started to use artists, musicians, models, bloggers, to be their fashion

inspiration until now. In the millennium era, fashion not only exists at a real world. In 2003 is the new beginning of a portal called SecondLife that provides a new way of communication and gathers ideas in one world also fashion with the stage of creativity and creation. Today, fashion icons and fashion followers still gather their ideas on the way of wearing their outfits. Like in real life, fashion events are also celebrated in SecondLife to spread the ideas of designer’s creation. At the beginning of February 2014, one of the designer from a brand called Legal Insanity, Datrip Blackbart shares his idea to unite several iconic designers in the aim of making creations from legendary style icons from past to present or a person who inspired them. This event called “The Style Icon” Fashion Fair, to express personal style and celebrate those who have influenced fashion world. The event starts from 7-28th of February 2014.
