Always add to your work on a duplicated layer so you may go back in case of an error. Choose a round soft, middle-round-soft, or fuzzy brush to put on the darker colors. STEP 5 – CREATE DEPTH

In the next layer, paint the apple’s strems in a green-gray (R51 G56 B34) color. Use white to paint the light, with opacity of 30 per cent. Repeat this procedure several times in order to achieve the desired result. STEP 6 – PAINT DETAILS

Paint the surface texture of the apples with small strokes in a darker red. Use the Smudge tool again, with reduced opacity, to make the surface look soft. Paint the green color in the left top edge. Work the piece with the smudge tool over and over again until you achieve the desired effect.
