bowlinG instruction Youth (Ages 5-11) A great beginner bowling program. Participants will learn about bowling etiquette, scoring, & mechanics during the instruction portion of each lesson. Following the instruction kids will take to the lanes to apply what they learned. Each lesson contains instruction, 3 games of bowling, and shoe rental. Participants will also receive a t-shirt

ADULT TEAM SPORTS LEAGUES ADULTS (18+ YEARS) The Department of Recreation offers a variety of organized adult sports leagues throughout the year. League play is open to persons 18 years of age and older (High School students are not eligible).

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do “the downhill stuff”? Here is your chance to learn downhill skiing at both a great group discount and only 10 minutes away from town. Whether you are a first-time skier or want to brush up on your technique, these lessons are for you! Beginning skiers learn the basic techniques to feel comfortable and safe. Advanced skiers learn parallel turns like the pro’s do. Classes meet 3 times with the same instructor, members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America. ice sKAtinG lessons Greater Milwaukee Figure Skating Club Ice skating is one of the world’s greatest sports! Learning skating’s basic skills is fun, challenging and rewarding. It can improve coordination and balance, stimulate your heart and circulation, relieve stress and build muscles. Regardless of age, it is a great sport for everyone... children, teens, adults, and seniors. 1:45-2:30 PM Saturdays / 7 sessions Snowplow Sam (Ages 4-5) Introduces preliminary moves to preschool age skaters. Levels are designed to develop preliminary coordination and strength neccessary to maneuver on the ice. September 22-November 3 6212.SK1 November 10-December 22 6212.SK2 *$105 / $112 Non-Res. (per option) Basic (Ages 6-15) Carefully planned levels to allow beginning skater to feel comfortable on ice while gaining basic knowledge needed to advance to specialized levels of skate lessons.
