How did you get into the world of reporting? "I’ve always loved to tell stories. At Boston College, I studied Communications and Journalism. I especially enjoyed my course work in Broadcast Journalism, Feature Writing and Television production. My first on-camera experience was as a co-host for Boston College TV for a segment called “The Dish”. I loved speaking to a television audience and immediately got hooked."

What was the first makeup artist project you ever worked on? " When I worked for the first time in a salon back in Mexico with my Aunt." Tell us a quick makeup tip that can take around 5 mins! "I love to make a homemade natural exfoliating mask with coffee grinds and 100% pure honey!" "Make sure your face is free from makeup!"

INGREDIENTS: *pour 3 spoons of 100% honey into a small plate. *pour 1 spoon of coffee grains and mix well together. DIRECTIONS: FIRST: Mix it together and exfoliate through entire face and neck for 2-3 minutes. SECOND: Let it sit for around 5-10 minutes and rinse with water! THIRD: Use an ice cube to go on your face after to close all your open pores :)

NEXTonSCENE Florist to KNOW , Regina Miloslavsky Flowers are a beautiful and IMPORTANT touch to any event especially when it comes to weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and holiday events! With Regina's business Relia Florals, she gives us some insight on how she got started to some amazing projects she is currently working on! What are your goals for Relia Florals? "My goals are simple. I aim to provide the most creative floral arrangements available at events around the world. I am currently contracted for work at a wedding in Paris, France in February 2018, I am also contracted for events in Toronto, Canada and The Maldives. Our ongoing goal is to collaborate with DIY professionals to create floral design events for the public that are a magical experience. " What was the first flower project you ever put together? "I remember it like it was yesterday. The event was a DIY flower and wine event at a local Enoteca in Ashland, MA. The event took place right after I had graduated from a local Massachusetts floral school. I was very nervous. But I had no reason to be nervous by the end of the event. The arrangements that participants of the event created surpassed my expectations by a wide margin. That gave me a great sense of accomplishment. Since the positive response of that first event, I continued to push to get more events. I wanted as many people as possible to discover the joy and love of flowers I have. Through my work, I have had the pleasure of meeting many great people from brides, grooms and their families to photographers and event planners. I learn so much from these interactions. These interactions give me such inspiration to do even more with my floral arrangements." Most rewarding job of being a florist? "I love working with different people from all walks of life. I find everyone has a story to tell, and I love to hear those stories. In addition, I love the constant challenge my profession offers. I am always striving to do something new and exciting based on changing trends. That is thrilling to me. "
"I have always have had a love for arranging flowers. The different textures and colors have had a grip on my imagination for a long time. I love the energy from the live flowers. I did not truly appreciate and personally and deeply connect with flowers until a personal tragedy occurred in the form of the loss of a loved one. Flowers became breathing living creatures that provided me with the perfect escape and distraction from my tragedy. When I was surrounded by flowers, I could feel their energy and I felt no grief for a brief moment. This was the best medicine I could have had during such a tough time. Simple Stress Reducers for Comfort & Joy This Holiday Season! Yet, Holiday Time can stir up feelings of obligations. Such as attending gatherings you may not want to, being polite to people you would rather not see, overeating, sleep reduction, overspending and other “not so good for you” behaviors that can cause stress.
So, how do you deal? Begin by creating a new Holiday tradition of your own. One that begins with a season of clearing your mind of negative thoughts and remembering you have CHOICES! Stress often manifests when we believe there are no other options. Remember that is not true! You can try to implement some of these stress reducers at Holiday Time (and any time of year!) to help you get through the season with more serenity and inner calm.
Here are 5 Steps to Get You Started! ONE: If you tend to overeat: Make a plan ahead of time that you will eat some healthy foods before you attend a party or gathering. Snack on some carrots, celery, fruits and drink a few glasses of water or a cup of soothing tea. Therefore, when you arrive at the party, you will not be starving and feel compelled to over indulge. Allow yourself to have a feast of “tastes”. Small portions of special treats are fine within reason. TWO: If you are uncomfortable in large social gatherings or having to deal with energy vampires: Know that you are not alone. Many people feel obligated to attend large social celebrations and yet the energy can feel overwhelming to some. Begin by making a plan. Choose the ones you say yes to. You do not have to attend everything you are invited to. When you do go, limit the time you stay. Perhaps you find after an hour or two, your energy is zapped. Then you know that is your cut off. If you have to deal with a toxic, energy draining person, be polite and then move on. Don’t feel obligated to stay in close proximity. Create your boundaries before you go and don’t break them. THREE: You feel sleep deprived: It goes without saying that sleep may be somewhat interrupted during Holiday Time. Travel, later nights, consuming more alcohol, sugar or caffeine than you normally do can throw you a bit off balance. Again, plan ahead. Limit treats to one or two indulgences. Be sure to drink lots of water or seltzer and restrict your alcohol consumption. Let’s face it, you don’t want to be remembered as “that employee or family member” that can’t control themselves! Plus, it’s just not healthy for you!
OUR: you overspend : There is F no reason for you to break the bank this Holiday Season. Talk with friends and family about creating fun ways to exchange gifts with “Secret Santas, making homemade goodies and crafts and having a cut off for spending”. Another idea is to gather a couple of friends or coworkers and volunteer some hours of your time. There are so many things you can do to bring joy to others and yourself without emptying your wallet and regretting it later. FIVE: You feel rushed and overwhelmed. There are many things you can do to reduce these feelings. If you like to entertain, create smaller gatherings this year. Order gifts online versus the mob scene and lines at stores. Take time to maintain your schedule to include meditation, exercise, and deep breathing. If you are spiritual or religious, be sure to include some time to honor that whether at a house of worship, concert or event. Plan things in advance and remember to stick with your plan. It will help you feel more in control and relieves your brain from overthinking! There are many things you can do to reduce stress and anxiety during the Holiday Season. Get creative. Think mindfully. Remember to embrace the beauty of this time of year and know that often “Less is More”. Take the time to enjoy it! Happy Holidays!

As I go into this holiday season I’ve begun to think about what I will give my loved ones on Christmas morning, as well as, how I want to impact the world in 2018. For ten years, I’ve pursued a list of 101 Dreams—from becoming a competitive figure skater, salsa performer, world traveler, and a novelist just to name a few. Each experience has brought me lasting happiness.

We had the fabulous opportunity of interviewing Robert and learning about how he got to where he is today. What was your first acting role? " I was on 1,000 Ways To Die on Spike TV. It was very comical but based on real ways people have died. My character played a bachelor at a bachelor party. I was the bachelor and I got a stripper in the restroom trying to get busy with her. As she is giving me a lap dance, I get up and somehow my hand slips on the porcelain glass on t the back of the toilet. The porcelain flew off and broke on the floor, I tripped and got a piece of the shard from the porcelain stuck up my a**! It was for sure an unforgettable acting role, but my mom was proud and I got $100 bucks for the day!"
How did the General Hospital Role come about? " I worked every job under the sun from dog walking to bartending. I did some modeling and commercial shoots and donated my time to build my resume. Eventually, one thing led to another and I got an interview with Mark Teschner and landed the job on General Hospital. I took about a year from the audition for them to follow up with me. "
What is NEXT for Robert? What are some goals you have for 2018! " I just finished wrapping up a movie which I am super excited about, Last Three Days. It is a action thriller and I am the lead role. I am really excited about that it should be available Summer of 2018! Now that I finished up my role on General Hospital , I am on recurring status which allows me the flexibility to focus on more projects. I am still doing my web series Bad Sex with Good People and I think now I am going to focus more on my music and write some of my own stuff as well. "

What are some of your favorite holiday wear this season? " My favorite holiday wear would have to be jackets, beanies, sweats. I love the fall and winter because it's nice to add to your style with some cool jackets or scarfs. As you can see in my photos to the left some of my favorites include : Calvin Klein (jacket), J Crew (shirt) , Levi (pants) & Steve Madden (boots)."
Favorite holiday tradition? " My favorite Holiday tradition would have to be opening presents Christmas morning. It's not so much the gifts that make it great it's just one of the few times throughout the year the whole family sits together and enjoys giving and exchanging gifts and conversation with each other. There's something so special about that family time and we don't do it enough in our busy 2017 daily lives. "

NEXTonSCENE Music to Download, Lannen Tell me a little about the band. Who is Lannen? " One of our favorite reviews of the band described us as a “Too Rock to be Pop, Too Pop to be Rock” band which made us all chuckle to read, but it actually describes us better than we could sometimes. We love to blend our favorite elements of rock and roll instrumentation with the melodies that make Pop music what it is and would hate to ever pigeon hole our sound or meaning anywhere. We’re also 4 gear nerds who love craft beer and football."
Where did the name Lannen come from? "It was either that or Led Zeppelin… and the latter was taken."
What bands/artists influence your music? "Jimmy Eat World, Butch Walker, Manchester Orchestra, Queen, Hey Mercedes, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters...the list goes on and on! What inspired you to create your first fulllength album, Anchor and Chain? "As a band, Lannen had put out a good amount of music in the past, but never a full length’s worth at once. In the digital industry today, putting out a full length record that we could hold and have forever was something we’d always wanted to do as musicians and friends. We took a year off to concentrate on writing and working on the record. It was finally released this past June at Night Shift Brewery which was kind of the cherry on top being beer guys. It was a really cool experience because every member of Lannen kind of brings a different perspective for each song. This resulted in some cool blends of genres you’ll hear all throughout the record."
If you could open for one band currently touring right now, who would it be? "Probably any of the bands who influence our music like Jimmy Eat World or Butch Walker. "

I goggled “cleaning company and volunteer opportunity” and found an organization called Cleaning For a Reason. I joined them before I had a single customer. I knew that by helping someone, I would be opening doors for positivity. We donate a free cleaning to 2 women under cancer treatment. Every couple of months we help 2 new patients. This year I plan on helping up to twelve women in total. Also, I plan on adding to this number as my company grows."

You really are ahead of the game with your business as I have never heard of a cleaning company with a phone app that is easily accessible for their clients, it is amazing! How can one download it? "Thank you! We've started House Bliss Cleaning after we identified the need for an innovated way to provide residential cleaning. As a busy professional who works full time, have you ever wondered, did my cleaning lady show up today? Will my apartment be cleaned when I get home? I’m wondering if she loaded the dishwasher this time… So the app allows us to streamline communication between cleaners and customers. New Years Eve Glam with Celebrity Makeup Artist, Eileen Sandoval Everyone knows that December 31st is the biggest party night of the year! Therefore, you’ve got two options this New Year’s Eve: Smudge on the usual makeup (that same old look you’re afraid to steer away from) OR you can actually change it up and try something new, fun and go out with a bang! It’s New Year’s Eve, it’s all about the glitz and the glam! For some of you, this is the only BIG party you get to dress up for all year, SO you should do it right and IN STYLE! I believe when it comes to NYE Glam, there are literally NO rules! I took some inspiration from the runways of Milan and Paris to bring you some unique, fun, simple to create but totally glam looks. I’m making it all about the eyes, but feel free to use a bold lip to amp up any of these looks. LOOK ONE: Minimalist But Not Basic
For this look, I mixed my B.B. Cream (which is actually Chanel’s CC cream) with Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base for an all over glow. Use a glitter liner to dab on some dots or draw some stars around your eyes. You can also add some accents like these jewels, stones or whatever you have to work with. Load on some mascara and finish off with your favorite gloss!
LOOK TWO: Glitz & Glam Gal
LOOK THREE: Diamond Eyes
Do your BEST smokey eye with full coverage makeup THEN add more glam! I used Urban Decay Heavy Metal glitter eyeliner in “midnight cowboy” to trace over black eyeliner, created a wing with the glitter liner and ran it under the lash line. Top it off with some accents like these bronze stones.
Give your black cat eye a run for the stars by tracing silver eyeliner around it! Add a metallic shadow to your lower lids like this one from Stila Magnificent Metals in “titanium”. Then add silver glitter around your eyes and just a little onto your cheekbones. Add some extra eye catching glitter like these chunky glitter sparkles available at Michael’s stores!
LOOK FIVE: Fireball & Some Glitter
This one is really simple: smudge a bronze eyeshadow onto your lower lid and run it all the way around your eye under your lash line. I used “Zodiac” by Morphe and topped it with “Pure” both from the Second Nature 3502 palette. Then to add a little extra NYE pop, I topped the center of the lower lid with a little piece of Gold Leaf foil and used glitter glue to press it on.
LOOK SIX: Shoot For The Stars I love Urban Decay Razor Sharp long wear liquid eyeliner for this. For this look i used Urban Decay “Fireball” and added some glitter around it using their Heavy Metal glitter eyeliner.
To brighten up your favorite makeup look, swap out your black liner for a bright one...
LOOK FOUR: Fire In Your Eyes
Finish off by gluing some stars using some eyelash glue in the shape of a shooting star on the lower outer corner of the eye.
Add some iridescent glitter shapes to your eye makeup. For this look I used Japonesque Pixelated Color palette and used the deep purple and dark silver shadows for a galaxy glow Smokey eye...
