Art or science? As the designer, I’m very pleased with the overall sculpture of this speaker. It amalgamates function and form perfectly. The oval cabinet is no mere style indulgence; it’s an exceptionally rigid shape that reduces sound-distorting vibration. It’s also been a delight to use classic materials in ways you simply couldn’t have five or ten years ago. The diamond tweeter and marble housing are lovely aesthetic elements, but their absolute solidity also means the unit sings like nothing you’ve ever heard. Art or science? Why make the distinction?
