raMsey cenTer Often imitated but never surpassed, Georgia’s magnificent Ramsey Student Center has become the center piece of UGA’s thriving East Campus area. Opened in 1995, the Ramsey Center includes acres of basketball courts, a pool which hosts the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on a regular basis and a work-out area for students that’s second to none. One visiting coach walked through the Ramsey Center on his way to practice and proclaimed: “this place has more stairmasters than we have stairs on campus.”
rankin sMiTh cenTer Georgia’s student-athletes can concentrate on their studies at the immaculate Rankin Smith Academic Center. Located adjacent to Stegeman Coliseum, the Center includes a wealth of computer work stations and individual tutorial rooms. It also features a “smart classroom” with high-speed internet access at every seat.

sTuDenT LearninG cenTer In the heart of campus you’ll find the massive Student Learning Center. You could get lost in here and leave four years later with a diploma. The 200,000-square-foot facility combines the best of classroom space, computer work stations and on-line library resources. There are more than 500 individual computer work stations loaded with the latest in educational software.
