Ambitious implementation plans are on board to construct a number of hydropower plants. Most of Myanmar’s neighboring countries are in desperate need for additional energy because of growing energy demand to support their growing economy. Myanmar’s petroleum resources and hydropower resources need to be cautiously explored and exploited, bearing in mind of geopolitical advantage over her neighbours.
