Foundations for International Education- London Country: United Kingdom Location: London (England) Campus: University at Albany Term(s): Fall, Spring, Academic Year Language of Instruction: English Program Description: FIE was established in 1998 and is a private, independent, non-profit educational organization based in London, England offering academic year, semester or summer study abroad programs for college undergraduates. For the semester length program, FIE hosts students for 14 weeks of study. The model of the program is such that students choose an FIE Key Course and a Pathway Course. Electives are also offered. Key Courses for the Semester include: British Life and Cultures Britain and Europe British Culture and Visual Media British Life and Business The aim of a pathway is to increase student choice and allow for a variety of student interests to be represented and nurtured. Pathway Courses: Internships: 3 days a week internships with class meetings throughout the term. Research: (social science, business, humanities)-- Develop research skills through designing, executing, writing and presenting your own research project. Set in a beautiful parkland, the university combines green field campuses with close proximity to London.
