Program Description: The University of Western Australia is the state's premier educational institution. The campus, with its distinctive Mediterranean architecture, has established itself as a unique landmark. Extensive gardens, the University's art gallery, museums, theaters and sporting facilities are all features of UWA's exceptional campus. Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in regular university classes at the University of Western Australia. Prior to departure, participants select three or four courses from the courses available to study abroad students at UWA. All instruction is by University of Western Australia faculty. Situated where the wide Swan River enters the Indian Ocean, Murdoch has easy access to both the cosmopolitan environment of Perth, the capitol city of Western Australia, and the port city of Fremantle, with its sidewalk cafes and street performers. Participants enroll in regular university courses and live on campus in the Student Village with Australian and other international students.
