Introducing Jamie Ilic We speak to Jamie Ilic about his new role at Exertis Gem As Focus Account Manager can you tell us what your role entails? As the Focus Account Manager it’s my responsibility to support and manage the independent retail & etail accounts, as well as B2B Resellers. From setting up new accounts, to holding a rapport with long standing customers, I provide sales support by helping maintain their stock requirements, communicate the latest promotions, and pitch relevant new products & ranges, to help customers grow and develop their business. How does this differ from your previous role with Exertis Gem and what has been the highlight of your career so far? As an Account Coordinator I was assisting with the after care of sales, from ensuring the timely delivery of orders placed, to ensuring the customer had relevant data and assets they may need to support marketing their products.

My new role is very different, I’m now at the fore front of selling, and this makes me feel a lot more involved. I’m excited to progress in this area of the business but the highlight of my career would still have to be winning the mince pie eating contest. How what your colleagues describe you? Funny, easy going and enthusiastic I’d hope anyway! What’s your favourite game of all time? Easy, World of Warcraft. Tell us a joke. I never wanted to believe that my Dad was stealing from his job as a road worker. But when I got home, all the signs were there.
