Eye Spy A documentary looking into the use of CCTV in Britain today. Who is watching you?

Brief// To promote a documentary on CCTV and surveillance in the UK for ITV1 to be aired on prime time television on a Monday.

Concept// Big Brother is watching us. According to statistics there is one camera for every 14 people. This documentary will explore the issues and advantages surrounding this. The programme is appropriately named, ‘Eye Spy’ and the main visual that is used throughout is of an eye.

Brief// To create the name, brand and advertising for a new TV channel for the over 60s as part of the Channel 4 portfolio.

Concept// The channel is about quality programming, not re-runs of old shows. It will challenge the views of the audience in typical Channel 4 fashion, without causing offence. The name I came up with is Your 4 - this is specifically for the over 60’s as there isn’t a channel that targets this audience exclusively. It has a modern but at the same time simple style, as research showed the audience doesn’t care for fuss.


Deliverables// 8 xA1 posters to be used throughout the surgery.


Brief// LIVE To promote Chirohealth in a visually stimulating way, based on the current branding and identity.

Concept// Promoting health and well being through bright visuals and a simple line of text, using taglines based on the photo featured.

Brief// To create the name, brand and advertising for a new music TV channel for fans of Dubstep, Downtempo and Drum and Bass.

Concept// There is a niche in the market for music channels - as the fan base for Dubstep and Drum and Bass grows, there are currently no music channels that cater for these genres. Infrasonic will play music videos and festivals for music from those genres, including artist interviews and unsigned talent. The name Infrasonic means low frequency bass which is a characteristic in these genres.

Brief// LIVE/COLLABORATIVE To promote Glayva to a younger audience.

Concept// The motion graphic was designed to be displayed on television, or Digital Escalator Panels on the underground (with corresponding billboard proposal), it would also be useful for an in-bar promotion screen for example in Slug and Lettuce.

Brief// To create a set of new idents for ITV2.

Concept// The concept for each ident differs slightly but the general idea is focussing on the values and attitudes of ITV2 which portray a laidback, relaxed vibe. With programmes like Celebrity Juice and The Only Way Is Essex, the channel attracts a fun-loving, young audience which isn’t portrayed now. The current ITV2 idents are around 8 years old and don’t seem to be an accurate representation of ITV2 and its programming.

Brief//LIVE/COLLABORATIVE To rebrand St Martins Practice in Leeds.

Concept// St Martins Practice is soon to be relocated in a new modern building next door to competitor One Medicare who already have a strong, established brand. Maya Srivastava and myself have come up with a welcoming logo, that enhances the partnerships in the practice and symbolises the friendly atmosphere within St Martins. We have developed a brand that will make the practice more professional looking and recognisable.


American Beauty Monday 8:00pm

Brief// To relaunch the Monday Night Strand on E4.

Concept// The visual concept is quite obvious, and features the E4 logo on a directors chair, this is to avoid it being confused with an E-Sting. For each film being shown, a visual element is featured in the ident as a subtle hint, along with an excerpt from the Original Soundtrack of that film. I have also proposed a ‘Drive-In Monday Night Movie’ event, to tour around the country where the viewers can vote for the film they want to see.
