HONORARY CO-CHAIRS: HARVEST FOR HUNGER

County Executive

Chris Ronayne Cuyahoga County

Harvest for Hunger is a 21-county food and funds drive coordinated locally by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

Welcome to the 29th Annual Market at the Food Bank, which is being held tonight in support of the Harvest for Hunger campaign. The Harvest for Hunger campaign is a food and funds drive that spans 21 counties, managed by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. In 2023, it provided over 29 million meals to our neighbors in need. We are delighted that you’ve joined us tonight at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for an evening of amazing food and drinks, entertainment, and most importantly, an opportunity to combat hunger in our community.

The past few years have been a difficult time for many people and the challenges persist. In 2023, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank witnessed a steady increase in the number of people seeking assistance every month due to the rising costs of food, fuel, utilities, and housing. Given that these costs are still high, it is crucial to raise funds to help provide nutritious food to our neighbors in need.

We hope you have a wonderful evening exploring the culinary talents of Northeast Ohio’s finest restaurants and beverages from a variety of purveyors. Make sure to browse through and bid on your favorite silent auction items right on your mobile device or visit the auction tables located in the main warehouse. You can also try your luck at the Bag Pull to win marvelous items, participate in our Wine Pull and BuildA-Bar Raffle, and enjoy live entertainment while mingling with local celebrity servers at our restaurant stations. Please note that every dollar raised tonight will help the Food Bank provide enough food for three nutritious meals.

We are honored to serve as honorary co-chairs for this wonderful event and we know that its success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many of you, including our corporate community.

Join us tonight in thanking the restaurants and beverage purveyors who have contributed their food, drink, time, and talent. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our valued corporate sponsors who have generously provided vital financial support and in-kind assistance. A very special thank you goes out to tonight’s presenting sponsors, Cleveland Clinic and PNC Bank, Cleveland. Additionally, we would like to thank our Market at the Food Bank Working Group Committee Members and the many volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this evening possible.

Thank you for joining us tonight and for making a difference in our community’s fight against hunger.

Have a wonderful evening!

Sincerely,

For every care in the community.

We proudly support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and the Harvest for Hunger campaign. Thank you for working to ensure that everyone in the Cleveland community has the nutritious food they need every day.
