Design & Layout Sharon Thorpe As we continue looking toward the future of our changing world, I applaud the resilience of our REALTOR® and affiliate community. You’ve worked so hard over the past year to make the most out of incredibly challenging circumstances.

As you’ll see in this issue of our magazine, this year we’ve celebrated the 2020 successes of more than 350 GCAAR Recognition Award winners, who have demonstrated just how driven and adaptable our members are. We are proud of your accomplishments and intend to do everything we can to support your goals to make the most out of this year as well.

One of the ways we’re doing this is through advocacy, which is at the heart of everything we do as your REALTOR® association. From the local council to the state house to the U.S. Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a huge impact on your work and on your clients. At the local level, your GCAAR Government Affairs team is there to advocate for you and for our industry, every step of the way.

Finally, in this magazine, you’ll also find another issue that’s very important to me: the subject of REALTOR®-to-REALTOR® relations. You know, we always hear that this business is all about relationships. That not only applies to our clients but to our fellow REALTORS® as well. We’ve included tips that are near and dear to me for how to provide excellent service to our colleagues. I can’t wait to share them with you.
