Dominic West on Pride “It’s sending a message of modern solidarity”
British feature Pride was awarded the Queer Palm at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The comedy recalls the amazing story of a group of London gays offering their support to striking miners in the summer of 1984. Hollywood-star Dominic West, best-known for his lead in HBO-hit series The Wire, plays the remarkable role of amboyant Jonathan Grimshaw. Gay&Night met up with the 44-year old actor after the lm’s world premiere. 16
