This bust was formerly in the board room at Oscar Mayer’s Chicago headquarters. When Oscar Mayer was bought out by General Foods (which later merged with Kraft) in the 1980s, the board room furnishings were moved to the new headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin. At that time, the present bust was gifted to one of the movers. Additional information accompanies this lot, including a letter from the mover who owned the bust. $300-$600

Pennsylvania born Siegenthaler lists himself as a thirty-year veteran carpet weaver in the Shives, Merz & Shives’ Wooster Business Directory of 1884-1885. His daughter, Mary, was born in Ohio in 1854. $250-$500 | 87
