When the economy is down, it becomes more viable to obtain a graduate degree in business since there are few jobs for undergraduate degrees. The hope is that as one is completing their graduate degree, the economy may have peaked and thus the one with a graduate degree will see his or her value in the market almost doubled.

The Graduate School of Business faculty hold doctoral degrees from well-known universities around the world. They have various business experiences and bring to the classroom a mixture of practical and theoretical training. In addition, our small class sizes help to create an environment where student participation is routine. Additionally, the Godbold School of Business is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and licensed by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education. The Godbold School of Business received European Council for Business Education (ECBE) recognition. ECBE is an accrediting body that certifies business schools across the world, headquartered in Switzerland. The Godbold School of Business is one of two North Carolina schools to receive this designation. Enrollment: Average fall enrollment for all Graduate Programs 1,201.
