OCTOBER 5, WEDNESDAY 12:30pm, Concord Room Grace Fabian’s book, Outrageous Grace, was written from her experience of how God brought life out of death and forgiveness out of pain. Her husband, Edmund Fabian, a Bible translator in Papua New Guinea, was murdered at his desk by a man they called a friend. The chain of events that followed her husband’s senseless death transformed not only her life, but the lives of thousands of others, as translation was completed and two families now call each other brother and sister. She will share her story on Wednesday, October 5. Feel free to purchase your meal from the Harvest Table and enjoy lunch with others before her presentation.

OCTOBER 25, TUESDAY 10am, Garden Towers Join us for A Quiet Presence (AQP) conversation. Learn more about how to offer your presence to a resident who is at the end stage of life. Currently trained volunteers will share their stories and an overview of guidelines and expectations will be presented.

OCTOBER 30, SUNDAY 6pm, Chapel Join us for a Sunday evening service (Vespers) honoring the Saints who once lived among us. Gathering in the Chapel, listen to scripture readings, sing familiar hymns, and experience a time of reflection honoring all those who have passed away within the last twelve months. Meditation by Chaplain Karyn.
