* If necessary, students may take MATH 111 and MATH 112 before taking MATH 140 and MATH 141. ** Upper level science (physics, biology, etc.), mathematics courses or computer science are recommended. German may also be an elective. Your advisor can assist in choice of electives. The guidelines published by the American Chemical Society recommend at least one semester of Biochemistry and Advanced Inorganic Chemistry as well as 400 hours of laboratory in the chemical field. ***Students may take CHEM 420 Analysis of Industrial Practices as the Senior Capstone course but not as a Chemistry or Technical Elective.
