Tarzan of the Apes Fri.-Thu. May 11-17 | Edgar Rice Burroughs’ pulp novel hero Tarzan was an iconic figure who inspired dozens of books, a flood of movies and was a precursor to all sorts of comic book heroes. The original silent movie version of Tarzan of the Apes was filmed in Morgan City, La. nearly a century ago.
