Remarkable Relaxed Established in 1964, the Green Turtle Club was designed and built to be in harmony with the colonial charm of Green Turtle Cay and the nearby town of New Plymouth. Green Turtle Cay was one of the first islands settled in The Bahamas in the 1770’s by Revolutionary War Loyalists. It was named for the many green sea turtles found nesting on our beaches. Centrally located on this one-by-three-mile island, the Green Turtle Club is a short golf cart commute from the historic village of New Plymouth. Perfect for exploring, this remarkable seaside community offers a wealth of insight into 18th century island life. The museums, galleries, shops, and pastelpainted gingerbread homes are uniquely reminiscent of turn-of-the-century New England. Not to be missed is the Loyalist Memorial Statue Garden erected in memory of the founders of Green Turtle Cay.
Luxurious Accommodations Green Turtle Club’s finely furnished, air conditioned rooms and villas are a marriage of the present and the past blending old world elegance with comtemporary comfort. Deluxe Club Rooms. Located in close proximity to the Club's amenities, they are equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee pot, television/vcr unit, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. Each room has a private patio with deck chairs allowing guests perfect views of the harbor. Superior Deluxe Club Room. Located in close proximity to the main grounds, this one-of-a-kind room has a king bed and a large private deck. Step through the French doors and lounge under the trees while taking in the calming views of the beach and marina.
Standard Villas. These triplexes built over the harbor at Turtle Point consist of two bedrooms and a separate center unit with a living area, dining area and kitchen. Guests have the option of renting the bedroom only or combined with the center unit. All villas have harbor views and boat dockage. Beau Soleil Villas In accordance with it's name, “Beautiful Sunshine”, this villa boasts magnificent views of the beach and harbor. Located directly on White Sound Beach and adjacent to the main buildings of the resort, Beau Soleil with a total of four bedrooms, is comprised of a main house, pool house, and a semi-private swimming pool. Private boat dockage is also available for an additional charge.
Adventures Thrilling Sailing and fishing are the most popular sports in the area. Charter a guide for world class bone fishing, go deep sea fishing, or tackle the reefs for grouper and snapper. Boaters are invited to coast through the many remote islands where they will find secret coves and routes often used by 17th century Caribbean pirates. Families looking to enjoy other water adventures can ask at reception for information on a variety of thrilling activities available through outside vendors. Try kayaking, the 6-man ski tube or the 12-person banana boat ride. Half and full day boat charters can be arranged with expert fishing guides.
Grab your snorkel gear to view shallow reefs abundant with marine life or delve into crystal clear waters to find ancient wrecks and caverns. Brendal’s Dive Center is located adjacent to the resort complex and provides all level of instruction as well as certification. The most popular tours, hosted by charming locals, offer diving, snorkeling or even dolphin encounters. Spend the day with our legendary Lincoln Jones and your trip will include snorkeling, catching your own lunch, a beach picnic on deserted Munjack Cay and (if you are lucky) shark and stingray feeding right on the shoreline. Elegant Dining Green Turtle Club offers world-class cuisine featuring fresh local seafood with a Caribbean flair. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily in a choice of dining locations: waterfront on the deck, in the covered patio or the formal dining rooms. Guests have their choice of paying a la carte, or purchasing a meal plan. Lunch and dinner menus change daily as our staff sets the standard for culinary excellence and allow guests to make their selections with the front desk! Happy Hour is a daily festivity in The Yacht Club Pub and the Turtle Pool Bar & Grill. It features specials on popular island cocktails along with complimentary pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres.
Amenities Green Turtle Club Resort offers a variety of amenities to add to the enjoyment of our guests’ vacation experience. A resort gift shop offers logoed momentoes, the marina store and grog shop provides various snacks and supplies, and the laundry facilities and pool are all available for guest use. Turtle Pool Bar & Grill. The Turtle Pool Bar and Grill (open March through August) sits high on the bluff with spectacular views of White Sound Harbor. Located poolside, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip before lounging under our cool umbrellas with a grilled snack and a soothing frozen beverage.

Located in an enviable location on White Sound, the Green Turtle Marina provides our guests with a location central to all of the nearby attractions. It is the only marina on the Cay within easy walking distance of breathtaking beaches. Cruising yachtsmen will enjoy full use of our 4 star resort amenities in addition to a contemporary 40-slip marina.

How to Get Here Green Turtle Club is accessible from Treasure Cay International Airport (TCB) and Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH.) From Treasure Cay, we are just a 5-minute taxi ride and a 20-minute ferry ride away. From Marsh Harbour, a 25-minute taxi ride to the ferry dock which will deliver guests directly to the resort. American Eagle, Bahamasair and Continental/Gulf Stream Airlines have scheduled flight service to the island. Private charters and individual ferry service can also be arranged.
