m loving it! We’ve gone 11 & 0, there’s no competition. I’m Ali, Jack Dempsey, Pretty Boy Floyd (The boxer), we’re the best in this magazine game we’ll eat your kids...lol, just joshing ya. OK, it’s time to be serious no more Lil Wayne / Mike Tyson quotes. They say persistence pays off and consistency comes with rewards. I must agree, after 3 long years of B.S. It’s finally starting to pay off. It’s funny how people try to jump into this business cause they think it’s a easy lick. It’s really a lot of hard work that goes into each and every issue. People see the glamorous side of what we do. They don’t see the ugly side of this sh?t. They don’t see the long photo shoots, the many trips to the bank, they don’t have to deal with model after model after model. Walk in my shoes for 2 days...I bet you’ll try to steal them, lol... I love this sh?t. No, I don’t pop bottles nor do I frequent strip clubs just to make it rain (nothing against those that do, it just not my thing). I’m just a regular dude that has a love for beautiful women & a passion for music. So while your in your study groups trying to figure out what I’m going to do next, I’ll be on my toilet taking a shit. Your more then welcome to watch, just make sure your taking good notes. So with that being said; Live your life to the fullest and keep God first. that included the verbal and physical abuse of an aunt, Hustle Boy found himself feeling at home finally for the first time in years. Through his natural ability for football he excelled and became a top recruiting prospect for some of college football’s most noted universities. Due to his not taking the SAT or ACT those same colleges would become just letters of opportunity after a graduation that almost didn’t happen. “My aunt dis-enrolled me from school once I left her,” starts Hustle Boy. “I didn’t even know until weeks before graduation. Luckily the school saw that I still came to class everyday and reinstated me which allowed me to graduate.” Moving on with his future, Hustle Boy went on to attend a Junior College on a full Football scholarship. But that wasn’t the end to his problems. Like anything else college took money, which he didn’t have. Turning to hustling as a way to make ends meet while still being a stand out football player, earned him the name “Hustle Boy” in college due to his ability to get money. The name stuck and his become apart of who he is now and has always been. Honing his craft quietly for more than 10 years, Hustle Boy finally attracted the attention of United Strtz Entertainment owner Debo Brightwell, who after hearing from his nephew D’Anthony about the rhyme slingers undiscovered talent, took a chance and has now named him the new face of the United Strtz Entertainment’s movement. Headed by partners Brightwell and Malik Fosterbey, United Strtz Entertainment has already received a number of endorsements by some of today’s leading industry professionals. “He’s got something here,” says Block CEO and Owner of Block Entertainment, one of Atlanta’s premier labels. “He’s recorded about 15 songs and has more singles than other artist who have recorded well over 100.” Motivated by goals to break what he calls the “curse” of his family’s situation, do to their lack of resources and opportunities, Hustle Boy looks to make the industry take notice. With something for everyone and the struggles of his past apparent in his music, Hustle Boy should be the name on everyone’s lips by the end of 2008. Where his future will go is uncertain but unlike his past one thing he has is the stability in United Strtz Entertainment.

t’s often said that nothing can be accomplished without some sacrifice or hardship. In hip-hop’s case, there’s always been a deliberate entanglement of over coming some obstacle or changing one’s own supposed predestined future. In the case of Brandon “Hustle Boy” Brewer that hardship has proved to be realer than any other story you could possibly string together. With words of failure instead of encouragement spoken to him, a life full of shuffling from one place to the next, and an uncertain path, he was a person striving for a balance. That balance would come in the form of music. Fast forward to present day and you’ll find Brandon “Hustle Boy” Brewer, seated patiently waiting for his chance in front of the lens at an Atlanta based photography studio. As the music from the stereo in the corner filters through the air, Hustle Boy’s usually smooth voice shows a hint of rasp as he naturally puts words to the beat. Unfazed by the change in his voice due to the recently long studio sessions, he seems more focused than ever. “I used to sing in church and that’s how I got my first start in music” states the 22-year-old rapper when asked about how he found his way to music. “When my situation started changing at home I turned to music to let out some of my frustrations. I just found that through rapping I was able to get a lot more out than I was through singing.” Armed with having to fight more than the average life’s struggles, Hustle Boy is used to making his own way. Born and raised on the east side of Atlanta, in the heart of the city of Decatur, he became a parent to himself and his younger brother at an early age. After moving from his home situation, where his mother was lead to the streets through an addiction that has claimed the lives of so many, the emcee and his brother were shuffled from home to home and lead a life lacking the basic need of stability. “I never met my father,” claims Hustle Boy. “I can’t even formulate a picture in my head of what he looks like. I like to think he left because of my mothers condition and not because he couldn’t handle the raising of my brother and I.” Consistency wouldn’t come to the aspiring rappers life until his sophomore year of high school when he was taken in by his best friend D’Anthony’s mother, Fayron Woodley. Leaving another bad situation

are ready to go at it again!! 2. You want to know the best way to get your woman hot and wanting sex? Take her out on the town and act proud that she’s on your arm!! Have the attitude, “This is my baby and she’s with me!” Women love the attention and knowing their man is proud of her is a big turn-on and a sure fire way of getting her into bed. Compliments go a long way!! Something else to remember is that one bad comment will destroy ten compliments. Keep it real, but keep it positive!!

How women like to be pleased, “Do’s & Don’t’s”

R

By Roxy Reynolds

oxy Reynolds recently was name Top Female Performer of the Year for 2008 and Female Crossover for the Year 2008 by the Urban Spice Awards. She is signed as a spokesmodel for Black Ice and has starred in over fifty adult DVDs over the past three years. She is the first black adult performer to present twice at the AVN Awards (the Oscars for the adult entertainment industry). You can find out more about Roxy at her official web site, www.roxyreynoldsxxx.com and at www.myspace.com/roxyreynolds. Being in the adult industry for the past three years has enlightened me when it comes to sex and what women want from it. It can be totally different than what a man wants from it. I receive so many emails and questions from men asking how they can please their women. I have put together a top five list of how women like to be pleased.

4. One of my friend’s motto’s in life is “the more you cum, the longer you live.” It doesn’t matter if a guy has the size of the dick of Justin Slayer or the size of the dick of a smurf, It doesn’t matter if a girl has the looks of Hallie Berry or the looks of the Wicked Witch of the West. Learn to love and accept yourself for who you are. This will make you a better person to be around and a better sexual partner. I am attracted to someone who is comfortable with themselves. That is a big turn on to me. 5. It’s ok to ask a woman what she wants you to do in bed. How are you suppose to know unless you ask? I didn’t come with an owner’s manual that you read to know how to turn my engine on. What you see from me on my DVDs is totally different that what I like to do in my personal sex life. How would you know unless you ask? Don’t be too thug or macho and think that you know everything there is to know about how to please a woman. If you have that attitude, that may be the problem with keeping your woman for a long period of time. Communication is the key to a successful sexual relationship!!

1. Remember that sex is passionate and not a performance that will be critiqued. You are not at the summer Olympics waiting to be judged on your style. A woman wants to know that you are into her totally. Into her emotionally and physically. They don’t care how many positions that you can do to please them. If you are great at one position and the both of you reach orgasms and are satisfied, that is what you need to do. Later on, it may become important to add a variety of positions to change things up. To start out, keep it simple. You will feel less pressured if you don’t feel the need to go into ten position before you cum. If the both of you cum in your first position, you have acheived your goal and

3. If you decide to please your woman orally, remember to stimulate the clit with your fingers, mouth and tongue. Women do not like it when you stick your tongue in their pussy. That is for the dick or your fingers. Unless you have a longer tongue than Gene Simmons, your tongue will never reach your woman’s g-spot inside her pussy. Focus on stimulating her clit. Find a motion she likes and stick with it!! You will be able to tell if she likes it by her reaction.

To the blind eye, it may look like the gentlemen of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated are simply cane-twirlers or step show performers. But, there is more than meets the eye when it comes to being a Kappa Man.... Founded in the 1910-1911 school year, ten extraordinary gentlemen, enrolled at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana founded Kappa Alpha Nu. The fraternity was founded on Christian principles, with five main objectives. With the help of the nine other founders, it was Elder Watson Diggs who aspired to unite men of culture, patriotism, and honor, in the bond of a fraternal organization. The vision that these men had in coming together was to achieve collectively, in every field of human endeavor, which became the fraternity’s fundamental purpose. The climb to prominence was not an easy one for the charter members of the Fraternity. Members had to endure financial struggles to keep the organization going, as well as numerous bouts of racism with the Ku Klux Klan, and their student peers at Indiana University. From this racism arose a name change, from Kappa Alpha Nu to Kappa Alpha Psi, in April of 1915. Rising from its humble beginnings, the Fraternity has grown to having 700 undergraduate and graduate chapters worldwide. The Fraternity has chapters in the United Kingdom, Germany, Korea, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and South Africa, and is still growing.

“To inspire to service in the public interest” is the fraternities fifth objective out of the five that its members work to carry out. The Zeta Chapter, at The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH), members are involved with a mentoring program in partnership with the Todd Bell Research Center for African-American Males. Members at the Iota Mu chapter at The University of Dayton (OH) have worked locally with The Boys and Girls Club. Members of the Xi Tau Chapter at Wright State University helped proctor the Ohio Graduation Test at Meadowdale High School in Dayton. Brothers have kept the spirit of the Phi Nu Pi, and have become successful lawyers; been elected to positions in Congress; and have been elected to mayoral offices of growing metropolitan cities. The first African-American mayor elected to serve as state governor was a Kappa. The foundation to achieve may begin when one is a youth, but many did not realize that potential until hearing the call of Kappa Alpha Psi. The fun comes with “stepping” in step shows, or “party-strolling” with brothers, but at the end of the day, members wear their shield on their chest, and enlighten those with the blind eye. Achievement is seen not heard.

It’s full fledge summer and ya girl Lucky is back in full effect! Looking for the July Underground A-List recipient I thought I’d switch it up on this one. I was contacted by a hot new up an coming company called the Famous Firm and asked to feature their new artist. Fortunately she. Yes I said she seems to embody the Underground A-List title. Nikki Minaj is her name and she just happens to be the next up in the young money camp. Yeah, Lil Wayne’s new label Young Money. Hailing from Jamaica Queens this Female emcee has the lyrics and the looks to eat the game up. Lucky: I’m excited to holla atcha cause I haven’t seen a female emcee like you in a while!! I have to ask. Is Minaj your last name? Nicki: No honey, lol...my name is actually Maraj. Fendi who is the founder of the Come Up DVD, flipped it when he met me. He said “I got a nasty flow and I eat these bitches!!!” lol You grew up in Queen right? How was it coming up as a lady in the rap industry with a history of great male dominance in rap coming out of Queens? Growing up in Queens was dope...It made me mentally tough. In those days everyone was either selling drugs or doing drugs so I learned early on that I wanted something more out of life. I watched my father fall victim to crack cocaine which could have sent me crazy, but instead, I turned my anger and pain into motivation for success and I’ve never looked back. When 50 Cent blew up I knew it was possible. He gave Southside Jamaica Queens hope. Well you certainly look like you can hold your own. Was this always your dream growing up? If not, when did you fall in love with hip hop and start making music? My dream growing up was to get my mother out of the hood by any means necessary. It just so happens that I’ve always been an entertainer. In my house I was always the life of the party. I was either singing, dancing, acting, reading a book out loud. I was just fiending for attention, lol. I winded up getting accepted into the school of arts for acting and I made up my mind on becoming an actress, but acting demanded too much of my time so I put it to the backburner. Then, I started going to the studio to sing and one day it hit me. I’m raps next female superstar! The stars are aligned! The game needs me!!!! Lets Gooooo!!!!!!! lol... Ok, I got to dig deep now. Tell me how you came across Lil Wayne and Young Money? Well, Lil Wayne came across the MISTRESS on the Come Up DVD: Volume 11 made by FENDI. He fell hard for the kid. Lol, he called up my people and they arranged a meeting with him and I. You are a part of one of the most anticipated projects to come. How does that feel? Are you intimidated sometimes because of the bar being set so high by Wayne? Hell to the yeah! He makes me step my pussy up on every record. His work ethic inspires me to go hard. I holds my own with Wayne, Jada, and the whole bloodclot business!!!!! lol How is it working with Lil Wayne? How in-depth is his role in your music and career?

We’re Harry Potter and Hermine, Trinity and Neo, President Carter and Nicki Lewinsky...lol. What I love about him is he lets me do me. Even though he’s the best in the game, he doesn’t try to alter my raps or delivery. We have a friendly competition in the studio but he respects me as an artist. That’s Big. Your promotional packaging has you bringing back the days of the super sexy Pin up rapper. Fella’s and some ladies, she brought back the hardcore poster.Yes, not done since the days of Brooklyn’ Queen Bee Lil Kim. How does it feel to bring back a classic? It’s exhilarating. I grew up on Lil Kim. Who knew my box would have been fat enough to rival the Queen Bee? lol In a male dominated industry where the most used cliché used is “sex sells”.Do you feel that you are owing your sexuality and some how turning the table on the men who use this saying? I’m not only the client, I’m the pussy President!!! lol...PUSSY POWER BITCHES!!!! I believe in females empowering each other. If u want to be sexy, do it!!! I feel that the media uses this “sex sells” rhetoric to make women feel ashamed of being who they are. It’s almost like my talent goes out the window because I’m sexy. Why don’t you come down on these dudes for being fake thugs? Men get to be as ignorant as they want with nothing but praise. I’m not going to make any excuses for who I am! I am Nicki Minaj! And there are a million girls out here just like me! You have a very striking sex appeal something the game hasn’t seen in a while. How does it feel to be a woman secure in your sexuality? Do you have any advice for women that might not be so secure with them selves? Well thank you and I’m not going to lie and say I’m the most secure person in the world. I have insecurities like every other girl I know, but confidence comes from within. My advice is to know who u are without hearing it from a man. There’s nothing more attractive than a confident self sufficient female. Amen!!! Don’t take this for a game. She may be super sexy but Nicki can spit. Letting you know in her music that she’s not your average eye candy. Lacing the “Lollipop Remix” and Tracks like “Sunshine” where she murdered the verse that Foxy put down many years ago on the same beat. The music leaves you wondering where all the real divas have gone in the rap game. Which one of your track past or present would you say embodies all of your style in one? Why? It would definitely be Baddest Bitch which appears on my new mixtape”Sucka Free”. People can buy it on myspace.com/ nickiminaj and it comes autographed. I did Baddest Bitch over Trina’s “single again” beat. Everything on that song is perfection. From lyrics to flow and to top it all off I sang a crrrazy hook which I also wrote. When Wayne heard it he gave me like 5 pounds back to back. The whole studio had the screw face and crazy head nod the whole way through. That joint is an indicator of what my album is going to sound like. Something the dudes can feel, and something my girls will love. What upcoming projects can we expect from you? A brilliant album...I just did XXL, King and Vibe Magazine as well. I’ll also be on the big screen when the right role rolls around. Alright, I wouldn’t be Lucky if I didn’t get a lil too personal with ya! So now I got 3 off the wall questions that someone else may not normally ask. I don’t think your going to mind you don’t seem shy. So… What is the tightest bar ever written and rapped by another female rapper? Ummmm Foxy said some shit on Broken Silence. I forget the name of the song...and I don’t remember the rhyme verbatim, but basically she said “Wanna see me where ya bed? Playboy, ya’ll gotta give me 5 letters, like: chloe, prada, gucci suits, range rover, etc”. She named all types of shit; everything she named had 5 letters... that shit was cold!! All the men with eyes wanna know, Are you single? If so would you do a reality show to win a Date Win Nicki Minaj? Single like a pringle...lol...yeah I would definitely do a reality show. “Bad Bitches Need Love Too”! I’d have a “step ya dick up” competiton. LOL Who’s your least favorite rapper of all time? Why? U know I’m smarter than that! NEXT!!!!! Damn I tried!! Alright and last let the people know where they can find you on the internet? www.myspace.com/nickiminaj Thanks Nicki, and stay tuned all you hip hop heads!! Lots of Exclusive interviews coming this year!! Visit me @ www.myspace.com/ she__she if you’d like to be covered inside one of my articles!!

Age: 20 | Height: 5’9 | Weight: 150 Profession: International Business Student/ Office administrator/Model Relationship status: Single Measurements:36-29-43 Astrological sign? Leo The person I would most like to meet is… The elders in my family I missed out on, If you had to sleep with one woman who would it be? Very tricky, sleep like what? Just in the same bed? ...If I was gay, probably a clone copy of myself... since I know where Ive been... lol What is the most important issue in the world today and why? I feel the most inportant issue in the world today is the mind set transformation of young americans, especially young black americans. From the limited amount of good dedicated fathers and mothers, the rate of black men in the prisons to the wildly spreading aids virus to our young people. Alot of people feel its the ecomomy or the war but its not, its the people. When we fix the priorities, mindset, the knowledge,of the importance of education, and our families, everything else will fix itself. Dnt get me started Im very passionate about the well being of my people, (not only black, all people!, But especially black) I could talk all day! Do you own any adult videos? No but I have seen some... LOL How old were you when you had your first kiss? Cnt remember but I was in the seventh grade and he pecked me on the lips before i left to walk home. Our lips barely touched, just my luck my moms friend had just picked up her kids and saw us on the corner. When I was a few steps away from home I saw her car and knew it was on! My mom kicked my butt!! And I didt kiss again for a long time! Funny Now, Not then! lol When did you know you could be a model? When I was about 7yrs old at a park with my sister and mom. My mom was having a mini photo shoot(she used to model) and I knew then, that at some point in my life, if not all my life, I wanted to be a model. I was such a little diva got it from my momma... Can we buy you a drink and if so, what kind? Yes you may I would like sprite with a tone of cherry’s, or some type of mixture of juices that look like a cocktail.Very occasionally a strawberry martini but very, very seldom! Doing this will get you cut… Any type of disrespect toward me or my family, especially if its physical!! In cluding grabbing my arm in the club or using unfavorable language or behavior around my neice! Lights on or lights off? Lights dim, dnt like them too bright or too dark all the time, but I like to see! The biggest misconception about me is…That im nice! LOL! You though I was going to say stuck up like every other model... No, I get that too but it dont bother me. But for some reason people think I wont flip! Probably because I always carry myself like a lady! A lady at all times! The misconception is that laides have no spine. Thats soooo not true, remember people Im a Leo, we are very assertive. Preferred type of underwear: thong or boy shorts What is the most creative thing a guy has said or done to approach you? the other day I went out with my sister for her birthday and we were standing at the door talking with the owner door guy when this officer with a really mean and stern voice, grabs my arm and says mam you have to come with me! and we are all looking around worried& confused because hes pulling me toward the cop car. And every one like, WhY!? What did she do? Im so nervous, and I say why what wrong? And he replies,” because your so damned beautiful I cnt beared to leave you behind!” We all crack up it was soo funny! I gave him my card and let him call me, although We never really talked but he sure got my attention! If you don’t have a lot of money, you better have… a good personality, drive and a dream because your sure going to need it eventually. What’s your fetish? Im not going to tell you, thats for who ever I share it with.

I’d like to introduce you to Akon’s protégé Ray Lavender. His new single “Stay” written by R&B star Tank, is Ray’s follow up to last summers underground hit “My Girl Gotta Girlfriend,” is doing well on the Urban radio charts. The lead single to Lavender’s self-titled debut album, “Stay,” is an ode to women where Ray speaks on dedication in relationships despite the daily challenges. This is Ray’s anthem of unconditional love. A release date is set for September 8th and I would love for Ray to be considered for a new artist profile or single preview. Please take a moment to listen to the attached MP3 of “Stay” and click on the link below to check out his Showtime at the Apollo performance.

What’s good? Just being easy. I’ve been blessed. What’s your background? Well my name is Ray lavender from Louisiana , been singing since 4, been writing since middle school, baby face inspired me. What was your motivation? Listening to everyone on the radio, asking how did other get on the radio? Asked mom can I turn little and get on the radio?...a lot Mom actually made me hoop instead of sing at first but after awhile I started to win talent shows singing knocking the boots. Needless to say I was only 12 and had no idea what I was talking about. How did you hook up with Akon? Used to work at pizza hut and someone asked if I sing? Someone told me that they had a dude that did beats and gave me there number. come to find out the dude was Akon. Take note this was in 97. By you being in the game so long, what has been the changes that you’ve gone through? Well by being in the game so long you have no choice but to grow. When Akon got locked up I went to to work with Teddy Reilly. That was a blessing within it’s self. I really learned a lot during that period. I’m really excited about my music man “I can sing”.

Now about the video, why did you have take the girl from Tank? Naw, I really just took her back. If you look at the video when I walked in you see her with him & I had a girl with me. After being there for a min and knowing that he’s getting the love that I used to get. I had to swallow my pride and do what I had to get her back. OK, there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s your outlook on the future of r&b? I’m really feeling r&b right now. I think we’re in a great place. It’s just that we’re trading places with hip hop. R&B is making a great comeback, you have Usher, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, and myself who are all making moves. What kind of vibe can we expect on your Cd? With my CD I have a lot of riding music, I got this one track with T-pain (Put it down) that really going crazy with the 808. the ladies loving it. So would you say hip hop had a lot of influence on your Cd? Hip hop has influenced my music in a lot of ways. I still keep it R&B tho. Kan has you dropping at a good time!!! Kon know what he doing, he got me dropping right when i need too if you know what I mean. He knows that what I’m bringing to the table is unique and really in a class of my own. He’s a genius. What’s next for Konvic music? Movies, clothing line, etc... just really making moves. Look forward to hearing from us. Cocaine cowboys the movie is about to do it’s thing. So you acting? Yea, I was actually blessed by being able to work with the producer of my video on a upcoming film. So, yea I’ll be on the big screen also. What Advice do you have for new artist? Get out and network!!! Keep your face known !!! Make sure people know who you are. Stay away from the wrong people, you’ll know the wrong people when they try to charge you. If you really got it, they won’t charge you nothing they’ll work it out with you. My best advice is to keep God first and never give up.

T

his months’ Underground A-List Award came out of Duval County!! DuuuVaLLL! Sorry =) Ok, I’m going to give you a little of our background on this one. Forgive me D-Cap!! We first met in Daytona Beach, for Spring Bling 04. I myself was coming from Savannah, GA, fresh out of College appearing as a freestyle battle contestant and Dukwon and Killa Cam as 2 guys with enough game to gain rare backstage access to a BET highly publicized event. Very confident I found him to be as I watched him. Though never mentioning any pursuit of his rap career he made connect after connect. At any given time in all of these conversations and numbers swapping he could have slipped his own ambitions into the situation but never did. At that point I was convinced that this young man at the time knew what it takes to get into the game the right way. You see for all of you underground artists that strive to reach your goals in the industry, you must learn the Art of Networking. Think it’s a game and you’ll stay underground. Nuff Said! A true hustla and business man Dukwon makes my May Underground A-List Award. Unknowingly at the time he was signed in 2003¬¬ to FTGU Music, and hadn’t mentioned it yet. For all those who don’t know FTGU Music (Frum the Ground Up) is one of Alicia Key’s many initiatives, “An Elevated Tour Management & Artist Representation Company.” He was also the Duval Flyer King. Establishing his graphic design company and designing for all the big shows and club events. Its 2008 and Dukwon’s Fresh off the Hypnotized Tour Bus with Big Names like Plies, Rick Ross, Pleasure P, and Lil Boosie. I’m a lil anxious to see what’s going on with him now. After all he’s almost a star now. So how’s success treating you? “Its treating everything good, the hood the crowd is good because we put on a good show. Now, they tell there friends that we didn’t just come to see Plies or Rick Ross they came to see Me, Killa Cam, Will and Joe too. “They leave wanting more info and music on me.” I’m like, “Ok that’s fly, but to be on The Hypnotized Tour with headliners, is it intimidating at times to be around these established artists?” “It’s never in-

timidating…..” Right Now, I’m giving the eye thru the phone and I Say “That’s pretty bold.” then he goes on “It’s like they Michael Jordan and I’m Randy Brown.” “I’m just waiting for Phil Jackson to say Jordan take a break Randy Get in there!!” Damn, I’m thinking, “Great way to put that” and “wow must nice to not be intimidated.” Then he adds, “I’m established too so it’s the same.” Aight, Good Game! The music is crazy. Tell me about this recent You Tube craze over your new single. “Well we had the song and we gave it to one DJ…one.” He uploaded it to a site. The site that he uploaded it to the title was Dukwon “Aww Yeah.” By the time we caught on to it, the song was being uploaded by people overseas to youtube.com with the Dukwon Featuring T-Pain “Aww Yeah title and had already gotten 2300 plays.” The way that I found this out, is I went to my Youtube. com account and typed in my name and Dukwon Featuring T- Pain comes up.” For real, that’s just proof of what the internets done to music these days!! Speaking of the music, “Aww Yeah” is the spotlight of this article and here’s the Real Report. As Always the Grading System is as follows: I’ve always been a fan of A’s I’m gonna make this like school. Stay wit me all my dropouts. That’s A-F and each equals 20% Of the Grade. Dukwon and “Aww Yeah” = 100% A+ Experience 20% Lyrics/Hook: 20% Sound/Quality 20% Swag/Humility: 20% Imaging/Packaging 20%

You know I’m always open to feedback so U Judge and Tell She, One Condition. You have to prove that you can do better!! If you do you could receive the Underground A-List Award and be featured in an upcoming article. Go to www. myspace.com/dukwonsmusic then email me at therealreport@gmail.com or hit me up on mypspace.com/she__she.

and he already knows what we’re talking about.” Although JAG continues to be a self-contained unit, some of the biggest producers in the business are already clamoring to work with them and be apart of their debut album Money, Power, Respect. Carlos Broady, an established producer behind the legendary sounds of The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, and Lil Kim, helmed the sly album cut, “Fuck My Car.” Conceptualized from the experience proven belief that women tend to gravitate toward men with flashy rides, the song shows JAG’s ability to relate to the mental focus of today’s present society. Also responsible for the up-tempo smoothed out “You Got It,” Broady more than makes his presence felt in these collaborations. Another major producer appearing on the debut album, Music, Power, Respect is DJ Montay of the Big Oomp camp. As the mastermind behind some of 2007 biggest radio hits including DJ Unk’s “Walk It Out” and “2 Step,” Montay’s energetic style can be felt on the infectious single “Trap Walk.” Featuring DJ Unk, “Trap Walk” sets a true milestone for JAG in their quest to become one of the best. “Recording “Trap Walk” definitely let us know that we’re moving to the next level,” claims G. “We moved from doing things in our house studio to recording in a big studio. It was similar to our own studio because it’s in the hood and you don’t have that out of touch feel. We could get relaxed and think about the music and our sound.” With their new hit single “Trap Walk” currently making waves on radio, the debut album Music, Power, Respect gaining momentum, and 2008 continuing on as a good start, be on the look out for more to come from today’s next big group, JAG as they give the industry and the world a new movement to follow.

t’s a little past seven in the evening and the passing scenery, full of trees, roads, and cars, has already begun to blend into one. As the radio station flickers in between the voice of Jay-Z and the static signals of no service, the cabin of the promotional truck remains quiet and full of loose thoughts. While all of those present may be unaware of the thoughts that fill the space, one thing remains for certain. They are all definitely thinking about three things: Music, Power, and Respect. On the road now for more than half of June and a substantial amount of July, Memphis’s newest rap trio and certified next to blow artists, JAG are grinding a lot harder than most major artist. In a different city every two days and currently living out of their suitcases, they would surely have it no other way. Raised in South Memphis and friends since Elementary school, JAG boasts an impressive roster of musical talents known far more for their abilities to string words together. Named after a moniker of their real given names, all are equipped with the talent to produce. Compiled of members Juan, West and G, each bring something unique and self -giving to the table. While Juan doubles as a rapper and word slayer, West conceptualizes most of the group’s club-ready and commercially minded beats, and G serves as the trio’s creative advisor through his creation of hooks, concepts, and producing tracks. Highly influenced by a mix of hardcore rap from N.W.A, 2 Live Crew and Top Authority, to the lyrical compositions of OutKast, T.I., Field Mob and Eminem, JAG reaches across the board and back throughout their vast musical inspirations and deliveries. “It’s always good to have an in-house producer, especially one that identifies with the type of music that you do,” G says in reference to West’s ability to connect the music to the artist. “We all came up together making music, so West understands the direction that we’re going in with the music. Once we get in the studio and we tell him the type of songs we’re trying to do
