Welcome To Futsal education Learning is at the heart of all that we do and @Futsal this is no exception. Right from the outset we learnt that our pioneering Futsal operations needed to provide communities, not just elite groups, with a end-to-end experience that recognised our changing lifestyles and the ways in which we want to Learn, Train, Play and Work. To enable this, we have aimed to make every element of the Futsal Education experience totally integrated, from our interactive learning centres and state-of-the-art Futsal arenas through to national Futsal Leagues that are web-enabled. Every one of our education programmes has access to all of these elements and, in addition, a cutting-edge education and sports learning platform called Inspire.

We find that Futsal programmes are a great way to re-engage these young people and with our cutting edge systems being aligned with current study programme requirements, we can even provide the fundamental skills in maths and English. Our learners and education partners are at the hub of everything that we do. We have created strong learner / partner communities underpinned by high expectations of attainment, behaviour and respect for each other. @Futsal Group is the UK’s leading operator of FIFA’s only approved form of indoor small sided football - Futsal and associated sport study programmes. We are totally focused on helping to make young people employable.

We have created a portfolio of programmes that combines a modern business partnership approach with leading education establishments on a national basis, using sport and in our case Futsal, as a unique enrichment and engagement vehicle.

Welcome to the revolution – I challenge you to come and find out more about our education programmes, you will not be disappointed.

Academically, we are top performing. Young people that join our programmes tend to stay and complete them, but more importantly go onto the universities of their choice, or apprenticeships and careers that range from teaching through to community coaching, leisure or even police and military.

Chief Executive @Futsal Group

Our education programmes link work related experience with highly respected courses from academic institutions such as BTEC National Diplomas, equivalent to 3 A levels, through to foundation degrees with university partners. We also provide a great suite of programmes for young people that are not in employment and have little or no entry qualifications.

Frank Rodriguez

Our innovative education partnership is inspiring students. Gill Barrett, United Learning

Futsal the game with the global appeal In case you didn’t know about the game itself, Futsal is an exciting, skilful and fast paced version of 5 a-side football. It is recognised by FIFA, UEFA and the FA as the official version and global standard for small sided football. There is a very active national league here in the UK and professional leagues overseas in places like Spain and Brazil, with familiar names such as Barcelona FC. There are also major worldwide competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championships and UEFA Futsal Champions League. The game is credited by many world class players down the years from Pele and Maradona to Messi and Ronaldo. The only small sided football format represented at international level in England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland is Futsal. Played on an indoor pitch with no re-bound boards, Futsal is just like playing regular football, but indoors on a smaller pitch with a few modified rules to suit an indoor version of the game. It rewards the same basic skills, tactics and knowledge of the game. Futsal develops close ball skills through an increased number of touches during the game. Players are nearly always placed in reduced space situations and are constantly forced to make decisions demanding speed of thought and quick reflexes. It’s high paced, energetic and a fast flowing game for spectators at the same time as a allowing players to be at their most creative. For more information about the game and why it’s the fastest growing indoor sport on the planet, with over 30 million players worldwide visit these web sites: Futsaluk.net The FA.com FIFA.com
