Hi! welcome to the 4th edition of funkytime magazine, the holiday issue! Christmas for me has to sparkle, glitter, twinkle and be magical. so “when in doubt, just add glitter� is the motto! This is a season of celebration, a visual buffet of creativity and decoration; be on your best, your guests and neighbors will be watching, and what better inspiration could you have than this new edition of Funkytime magazine! merry christmas!

Mix all spices to your tasting, use only a litte bit of lavender, as it has an intensive taste.

For 1 Bottle of Hot Spiced Wine ulling 2 tbsps of m spices

1 bottle o red wine f 1/3 cup su gar or hone y

For 1 Bottle of Hot Spiced cider 2 tbsps of mulling spices 1 bottle of cider

8 oz. baking soda 4 oz citric acid 4 oz. corn starch 4 oz. Epsom salts

2 tsp essential oil 3/4 tsp water 2.5 tsp almond oil A few drops food coloring

Mix dry ingredients...

Mix

wet ingredients in separate glass.

Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir with a wisk. Mixture should clump together in your hands.

Place sugar flowers/hearts or glitter on the bottom of a styrofoam or plastic cup, add soap mixture on top.

Pack mixture tightly. Push down the mixture into the cup using a small glass bottle.

Release from cup carefully

Dry on a towl for one or two days.

Christmas Chandelier

Do you have a collection of jars with hopes that you’ll find something cool to do with them one day?


You will need:


Christmas candy Glue gun bakers twine jars wheel silver wire


How to


Cut bakers twine in different lengths and attach candy at the end with hot glue.

attach your jars with silver wire to the wheel/ pulley and place a tealight inside.

attach as well the candy+twine strings to the wheel.

attach the chandelier to the ceiling, use a strong hook, as it can get heavy because of the jars.

you will need zip lock bags or piping bags a double boiler or pan with a glass bowl that can sit over simmering water wooden sticks or spoons ice trays

ingredients 8 oz. chocolate (bittersweet. semisweet. white chocolate- they all work)

1/4 cup cacao sifted

1/2 confectioner's sugar sifted

christmas candy chili pepper & peppercorn pinch of salt


warm chocolate slowly in a double boiler. & mix remaining ingredients into the warm melted chocolate..

let cool a little. insert woodden spoon or stick & a chili pepper or christmas candy or sprinkle pepper corns on top.

Ingredients: 1/4 lb. butter 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 cup milk (or more) 2 1/2 to 3 lb. Italian plums


Instructions: Cream butter and sugar. Mix well the eggs, flour, salt, baking powder, vanilla, and milk. Grease a pan and preheat oven to 375째F. Spread dough on pan. Halve, pit and wash plums. Lay plums on dough with cut side up and touching one another. Sprinkle plums with sugar and cinnamon. Then dot each plum with a little piece of butter. Bake at 375째F for 30 minutes.
