OUR CAMPAIGNS

This year, our actions were directed beyond financial sustainability. They received the support of strategic partnerships with the media, public administrators, academics, national and international organizations, companies and civilian society.

Campanha Verdades Infantis (Child Truths Campaign) This year we launched a 30 minute film and a 1 minute film, a radio spot and an advertisement for newspapers and magazines for the Campanha Verdades Infantis, in the aim of mobilizing society to look at children in need and help them by way of donations, made either by people or by companies. The theme of the 30 minute film was the way children have of always surprising adults with spontaneously spoken truths, catching them ‘unawares’. While the 1 minute film was based on the true story of a girl who, at just 8 years of age, looked after her two younger brothers, did all of the household chores and, at night, went out to sell flowers in bars and restaurants.

Intercontinental Hotel The Intercontinental Hotel offered free accommodation to all of the band and crew members of Os Paralamas do Sucesso, on the occasion of the show they gave at the Prêmio Criança awards ceremony in November.

Sol Meliá - Hotel Trip Nações Unidas This hotel granted 11 days of accommodation to the representatives of social organizations and companies selected as finalists for the Prêmio Criança awards and who live outside the city of São Paulo.

Tam Linhas Aéreas The TAM Linhas Aéreas air company donated 20 airline tickets to be used during the technical visits for the Prêmio Criança 2009 awards.

Uma Camiseta por Dia (A T-Shirt a Day) From August 3 to August 7, Fundação Abrinq held the “1 camiseta por dia” promotion on Twitter, offering gifts to its new followers. A different question was posted each day, always related to defending the rights of children and adolescents and the winners were the best answers evaluated by the team from the organization.

Created by the R.EPENSE agency, with film production by Zeppelin Filmes and sound production by Nova Onda, the campaign was carried out on an entirely voluntary basis by the three companies, with no cost to Fundação Abrinq. The aim is to raise funds for the Nossas Crianças program, which brings together people and companies that wish to support the cause of childhood, from social organizations that attend the child-youth population from low-income families. The campaign was advertized on the broadcasting companies: SESC TV, Rede Globo, Canais Globosat (Sony, Warner, GNT, GloboNews, Universal), Turner, TV Gazeta, TV Cultura, on the Siga Bem Caminhoneiro radio program, in the Destak, Jornal de Brasília, Correio de Sergipe newspapers and the Infância e Festa, Filantropia Gestão Social, Mercado Brasil, Inove Ambiental, Concerto and Estar Bem magazines.

Advertisement for the Empresa Amiga da Criança Program Because we believe in the enormous potential of the companies that invest in social actions and projects, in September we launched the advertisement “When you say no to child labor, many people can say yes to your brand”. Publications that supported the campaign include: Revista Inove Ambiental, Revista Exame, Revista Veja São Paulo, Revista Bons Fluidos, Revista Mercado Brasil, Meio & Mensagem, Revista Women’s Health, Jornal Valor Econômico and Jornal de Brasília.

Museu da Pessoa (Museum Of The Person) We participated in the “Histórias que Mudam o Mundo” (Stories that Change the World) campaign, carried out by the Museu da Pessoa, producing videos that tell inspiring stories about life changes, social transformation and people who make a difference in their communities. All of them, to some degree, have a relationship with Fundação Abrinq. They are staff members, benefitted youths, volunteers, partners or educators.

Advertisement for the Prefeito Amigo da Criança Program To provide incentive to join the Prefeito Amigo da Criança program – 2009-2012 administration, a commitment by the public authorities to improving the life quality of children and adolescents, this advertisement was run in the Jornal Tribuna do Norte newspaper (Natal/RN) and in the magazines Professor (EnsinoFundamental), Prefeitos & Gestões and Multi Cidades (Frente Nacional de Prefeitos).

Os Paralamas do Sucesso (pop-rock band) The band donated its payment for the show given at the Prêmio Criança 2009 awards at HSBC Brasil, in São Paulo.

Advertisement for the Adotei um Sorriso Program The advertisement for the “Adotei um Sorriso” program was published in the Mercado Brasil and Inove Ambiental magazines, in the aim of mobilizing healthcare professionals to carry out social actions for the benefit of children and adolescents in Brazil.
