PRESCHOOL CHILD FIND DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENINGS February 19, 2014 Do you have concerns about your child’s development? A FREE program offered by the FNSB school district may help. Early detection is very important and there are resources available. The sooner a delay in development is discovered the sooner help can be offered. An evaluator will work with your child, aged 3-5, to identify his/ her individual needs. If the screening shows areas of concern, a comprehensive developmental evaluation may be conducted to determine what resources are needed and available for your child to have a successful school experience. If you feel your child could benefit from a screening, please call the FNSB School District Special Education office at 452-2000 ext 11445 or the Fort Wainwright EFMP program at 353-4243 or 353-4460.
