III. JUSTIFICACIÓN : La adquisición de un idioma extranjero por los estudiantes posibilita un proceso de comunicación intercultural, aspecto fundamental en el mundo globalizado. El aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero permite ser receptivo a los aportes culturales innovadores, los cuales se podrán recibir de manera más adecuada cuanto más se halla desarrollado las capacidades comunicativas en el idioma materno. Es por ello que la enseñanza de fomentar el idioma extranjero se convierte en una necesidad colectiva que compromete que los estudiantes de la CEBA desarrollen y fortalezcan competencias comunicativas que les permita interactuar eficiente y eficazmente en los distintos contextos sociales. Como parte de su organización el Área de idioma Extranjero como parte de su organización considera los aprendizajes a lograr, los cuales están organizados en dos componentes: Comunicación Oral y Comunicación Escrita, teniendo en cuenta las funciones comunicativas vinculadas con temas pertinentes a las necesidades e intereses y al desarrollo evolutivo de los estudiantes.
