You will discuss how to set up and quilt a typical bed covering. Then try your hand at the Nine Patch Star pillow-top that you can take home. In the 19th century, fireplaces were the only form of heat and often died down during the night. When your wool skirts or aprons developed holes in them, you never threw them out. Cloth of any kind was highly valued because it took a lot of time and effort to make it.
