Human Services Bachelor of Arts Degree (120 Semester Hours)

Human Services majors are problem solvers. As they explore the fields of psychology, sociology/social work, criminology, and business, they prepare for careers aimed at enhancing the public good. By intentionally weaving together coursework in each of these fields, the Human Services major is truly interdisciplinary in nature, thereby preparing its students to consider problems and formulate solutions from a variety of angles. Graduates tend to pursue careers and/or advanced degrees in education, social work, psychology, or public service, to name a few. In addition to completing the CGPS General and Liberal Education Curriculum, Human Services majors will complete the following sequence of courses:
