Melissa Murillo Illustrator // Berlin
Melissa Murillo is an illustrator based in Berlin. Obsessed with details, ephemera, memories, dreams and nature, she grew up on a visual diet of the strange trips in her books from amazons. Her drawings make it quite obvious that Murillo is an absolute stickler for details and that lack of colour doesn’t take anything away from her images. Murillo’s art follows the rhythm of globalisation, bridging borders and cultures closer, having lived in South America, France and now, Germany.
