Creative Play Preschool Eola: 4-year-olds
We focus on social emotional development with introducing them to sharing, being kind to others, taking turns, follow directions, participating in small and large group activities and transitioning from one activity to another. Children will also learn to recognize basic shapes, colors, numbers, recognizing their name, simple math concepts. We Large and small motor skills will be strengthen through activities such as balancing, climbing, stringing beads, complete puzzles and using writing materials correctly. (SC)
Children will continue to work on social and emotional skills and language development. Motor skills will be fine-tuned through hopping and balancing activities, stringing buttons, holds and controlling scissors correctly and using writing materials properly. There will be a focus on readiness /math skills such as, recognizing and printing their own name, counting to 31 and being able to recognize numbers, letters and count objects up to 10. (SC)

Creative Play Preschool Eola: School Readiness Program for 4½- to 5-year-olds Children continue to learn motor, readiness and language skills, while focusing on certain numbers and letters each week. Children will visit classroom stations to practice skills such as letter recognition, sorting, matching, graphing, cutting and writing. Free choice time following station activities in the classroom. Please note the pre-requisite for this class requires students to have mastered skills taught in the 4-year-olds class. (SC) Age
