What is Creative Play Preschool? The Creative Play Preschool program offers a stimulating environment for children to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. The preschool curriculum includes activities involving art, math, science, language, music / movement and dramatic play. The program features an excellent student/teacher ratio enabling instructors to work with each child individually. A child’s first experience with school sets a foundation for development. Park district instructors will instill a love for learning that will continue through their future years in school. Children must be 2, 3 or 4 years old as of Sept. 1 of the current school year and must be completely toilet-trained. The school year is divided into three sessions: fall (September to November), winter (November to March) and spring (March to May). Creative Play Preschool is offered at the Prisco and Eola Community Centers and Red Oak Nature Center.

Creative Play Preschool Registration Payment Plan Full-year registration is available with initial payment due at registration and eight more equal Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) will electronically withdraw the money from a checking, savings or credit card for the scheduled payments throughout the school year. If enrolling in only one session entire payment is due at time of registration. Note: There is a $25 registration fee due at the time of registration.

Looking for an extended-day option? Breakfast Club, Lunch with Pals and Playtime and Afternoon Labs at Prisco Community Center provide enrichment opportunities for preschoolers. See page 69 and 70 for more information.
