Martial Arts Fun for All Seisan Ryu Karate
Judo
Seisan Ryu is a practical, efficient martial art dedicated to discipline, strength of character and personal safety. Participants may sign up for one or two nights a week; those who sign up for one night per week may come either night. Parents may practice with their children for free in the class for ages 6 to 12 after signing the park district waiver. Head instructor David Carr has more than 30 years of experience in the martial arts and is a sixth degree black belt in karate. (MO) (JHP)
Judo is a refinement of the ancient Japanese martial art of jujitsu. Kodokan judo is a fun sport, a fitness program and a recreational activity. Skill, technique and timing rather than the use of brute strength are essential ingredients. Additional family members receive a $5 discount. (MO)
