Prisco Community Center
This league is designed to increase each player’s overall ability to handle the soccer ball and expand knowledge of the game. Futsal is designed to develop indoor soccer game skills, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking and pin-point passing. It is played with a special low-bounce ball, requiring players to use their skills rather than the ball’s bounce to propel it. This program is taught by All Star Sports Instruction. Indoor shoes and shinguards are required. No class on Feb. 3, 10 and March 3. (JF)
Indoor Soccer League 5v5 This soccer league is a scaled-down, indoor version of outdoor soccer. The league features five-on-five or six on six on a smaller (roughly basketball court-sized) field with a smaller, low-bounce ball. The eight-week league includes a single-elimination tournament. Teams will play two 20-minute halves with a roster limit of 10 players. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams. Indoor shoes and shinguards are required. A mandatory captains meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the Prisco Community Center. (RM)

Recreational Soccer Leagues (Grades K to 8) The Fox Valley Park District is affiliated with the Kickers Soccer Club and Wheatland Athletic Association that provide recreational soccer leagues in the fall and spring sessions. The Kickers Soccer Club recreational league teams play on Saturday mornings at the Stuart Sports Complex. The Wheatland Athletic Association league teams play at a variety of athletic fields in the Fox Valley Villages area on the far east end of Aurora.
