Sports Let’s Play Rugby

Badminton

This popular program is designed to introduce nonrugby experienced athletes to the skills, training, philosophy and strategy necessary to participate in this sport. Training sessions will be conducted by experienced players and coaches from the Chicago Area Rugby Football Union. The skills and drills will acclimate those new to the game and tune up the returning player for spring practice. Learn the positions, the game, passing techniques, rucking and mauling and the allimportant “scrum.” High school age participants can go from this to the spring competition season with the Aurora Youth Rugby Football Club, while junior high participants can get introduced to the sport and be prepared for future competition. Must sign up by Feb. 6. (RM)

Health Tip!

Relax for 20 Minutes a Day Relaxing for at least 20 minutes a day helps reduce blood pressure and ease your reactions to stress. Steal away for a little quiet time each day to allow your mind and body to “decompress” – you’ll feel more relaxed and revived with positive energy.
