APPY NEW YEAR! I’m confident our future at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club has never been brighter and I hope you are excited about 2022 as your Club management team has many new initiatives for the Club with new programming and facility improvements. For almost four decades our Club has enjoyed a storied, multi-generational history, and this living legacy will continue to grow. In that spirit, we are working hard to continually adapt Club programs and products to the evolving and diverse interest and trends of our fast growing membership. We have implemented many updates to programs, services, and amenities that fit members interest and feedback. The overall member experience has become the most multi-dimensional offering of any Club in the DFW metroplex. Our goal has always been to become “The Most Admired Club in Dallas” and based on the fact that we have already achieved “Full With a Wait List” status in the Golf category, and soon will achieve that status in the Tennis and Fitness categories of membership, we can all take great pride in our Club. The overall growth in membership has been remarkable and the feedback we are getting from our members and community assures us we are on the right track for success.

We are working hard with our owners to overcome the challenges in scheduling the planned renovations for the Club. Supply chain issues and labor has proven to be a very big hurdle, but we are addressing those projects we can get done as soon as possible. The order that these renovations happen are not based on priority, but availability of materials and contractors to do the work. The new Pickle Ball courts have started and a contractor has been hired. We anticipate this new amenity will be operational early Spring. We have final design work completed for Locker Rooms, Members Lounge, Driving Range as well as improvements to our indoor and outdoor Tennis Courts and several other updates to common areas of the Club. We anticipate the timeline and renderings will be available to share early in the year.

I would like to welcome long time member David Evans for his election to serve on your Board of Governors starting in 2022. I would also like to thank Judy Mason for her service on the Board the past four years and the many contributions she has made to improve your Club.

Our 2022 focus and beyond is to be ready for the COVID mandates and restrictions to be fully lifted and remain working in close collaboration with your Board of Governors and committees to increase the value of your membership with every decision that is made throughout the organization. I would especially like to thank our dedicated staff, many of them impacted by the challenges of this difficult time, for sustaining an excellent level of service day-in and day-out during this crisis.

Looking forward to a great 2022 at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club,

See you at the Club,

Jim Kern, PGA General Manager
