The Forward Together campaign sprang to life with the idea of building a new home for our men’s and women’s basketball programs. Q&A If I commit to a CGA, will I get to select my seats in the new basketball arena? All donors who commit to a CGA will be given the opportunity to select their seats. The seat selection process will be based on a three tier priority point based system: Current floor seat holders, season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders. Each group will be ranked in priority point rank order and given an opportunity to select their seats. What is the benefit of signing a CGA now, 4 years before the arena will be completed? The timeline for construction to begin on the new arena is contingent upon the success of this campaign. As such, your early commitment allows for us to proceed with all facets of design and development and meet our goal of breaking ground on the new arena in 2013. Will I still be required to make an annual donation and purchase season tickets every year? Yes. You will still be required to make an annual donation to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund and purchase season tickets in order to maintain your seat priority. However, because of your donation guarantee, you can rest assured that your annual donation will remain the same through 2024.
If I fail to make the minimum required gift deposits or decide I no longer want seats, will I receive a refund for payments made toward the capital gift? No contribution toward the CGA will be refunded. Please remember, the capital gift is a charitable contribution to the Forward Together campaign and will allow for all construction projects to proceed in a timely manner. How can I make a payment toward my capital gift? After receipt of your signed CGA you will be provided with information regarding your payment options. We will make every effort to make the contribution process as easy as possible and will be happy to set up monthly donation plans.
