Three Scouts received their Eagle award on Memorial Day On Memorial Day, May 27, Grant Kunnemann, Chris Herzog, and Ryan Bullard of Troop 1631 received their Eagle award, in a Court of Honor attended by family and friends. The invocation was given by Ryan’s aunt, Colonel Jeanne Arnold of the United States Army. These young men, recent Clements graduates, began their scouting journey in 2001 as cub scouts in Pack 1882 at Commonwealth Elementary. Their path to Eagle involved numerous camping nights, merit badges, high adventure treks such as Northern Tier, Philmont, and Sea Base, leadership activities, and numerous volunteer hours. As part of the Eagle requirement, each boy was required to complete an Eagle project:

Sugar Land Infrastructure Update with City Manager Allen Bogard The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce will host Sugar Land Infrastructure Update on Thursday, June 27, with City Manager Allen Bogard. The breakfast will be held at The Sweetwater Country Club, 4400 Palm Royale Blvd., Sugar Land, from 7:30 – 9:00 AM. Bogard has been with the City of Sugar Land for over 18 years and has served as city manager since 2001.
